It has been a disappointment working with Janeanne Abbott. However, this appears to be a theme and we should have read the reviews first. We are a mental health clinic and we provided a service to one of her clients at her (Janeanne) request and guarantee and now she is refusing to pay us for that service. She promised payment on the day of the service but "forgot the check at the office" so we agreed she would bring it by our office the next day. She (Janeanne) originally agreed to make payment on the date of the service (October 2025) and then requested an extension (November 2025). Since then she has been non responsive to all of our contact. We have also reached out to her associates at the firm and they are non responsive as well. One associate has denied even knowing her despite them having the same address, phone number, voicemail message, and being in each other's professional photographs. It is rather weird indeed and reflects poorly on the entire practice set up of The (*****) and Abbott Prescott Attorneys at Law. We wish for someone to acknowledge our situation and to make payment as promised by Janeanne.

I highly recommend Jennifer Prescott @ Abbott Prescott Attorneys. My story below will make it clear why I make this recommedation. I was involved in a traffic accident that involved a 1 ton Chevy truck that hit me from behind while I was stopped at a red light. When I found out that the driver of the truck had the same insurance as I did, I thought this should make it easy to get everything resolved. I couldn't have been more wrong. Everything slowed down and trying to deal with rental cars, medical needs/bills, and the repair of my vehicle became problematic. I reached my breaking point when the insurance company wanted me to sign a release form that included medical records (I understood that need), work history and financial information. It was at this point I knew that I was over my head and that I needed a lawyer. I made an appointment with Jennifer @ Abbott Prescott Attorneys to discuss the accident. Her demeanor set me at ease as she discussed the intricacies of this type of case. Her professionalism was evident and the actions that followed proved she was the right attorney for my issue. After that first meeting, all the hassle and worry of dealing with the issues involved with the accident were eliminated from me. Jennifer continued to handle all the issues and worked to get me a very equitable settlement in my case. The settlement reinforced the value of having Jennifer as my representative and made it clear that if I had tried to handle it myself, I would have been taken advantage of by the insurance company. I can't recommend Jennifer highly enough to anyone having to deal with an auto accident...especially if there was a resulting injury.

Jennifer Prescott was my attorney during the most difficult time in my life when I was going through my divorce. She is very smart, kind and tough when needed. She gave me my options and advice but let me make the final decision. She is a very good person and attorney. I highly recommend her if you are in need of legal assistance.

Janeane has to be the worst attorney. My wife used her for 5 years and she only got 1 thing accomplished in the divorce. Never filed any other motion for settlements even though she lied about she did. She will never call you back. Finally responded after 2 years of trying to reach her and then nothing again for several months. Hired a new attorney in November and this new art has done more in 2 months than Janeane did in 5 years. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere

This law firm is very unprofessional. Every time a call is made reaching out to Jeanne the phone call is never answered or returned. She stated reaching out to her by email is best, but yet she never answers. Just to get a response it takes weeks. A case that could have been closed and said and done with months ago is yet still going on. I absolutely do not recommend this law firm or the attorney herself to anyone.

I have been with then for a while and always they treated me like a family . They will fight for you and they will defends your rights . THE BEST LAW FIRM Thank you

This place is not professional at all. I have paid my fees in the beginning of hiring a lawyer from here. Went to court 1 time. And now I can't get in contact with her at all about my case.
