Absolutely horrible experience I paid up front full amount my attorney was late to one of my court dates not just a few minutes either over a half hour. I was offered a plea deal at my very first court date i declined the offer based off what my attorney instructed we should do my case was then dragged out for months including multiple other court appearances which led to more billing which was never discussed with me prior as in I paid in full. Basically they dragged it out so they could charge me another 4000. I would never recommend this law firm to anyone they won't fight for you and they will over charge you.

My experience with Abood Law was disappointing overall. The first time I called, Jeff Abood answered and was straight-up rude—definitely not what you expect when considering paying $5,000+. After payment, his tone changed, which just proves the saying “money talks.” My actual attorney, Michael Anderson, was much better. He was polite, patient, communicative, and tried to understand my situation. I appreciated his professionalism. That said, the PPO case against me was dismissed—but only because I hadn’t contacted the petitioner in 1.5 years. It was clear from the start that this case was going nowhere, yet I still wasted my money and time. The judge didn’t even give my lawyer the chance to properly defend me against the false allegations. Compared to other firms I’ve worked with, like Julian J. Poota PLLC and Rabaa & Nachawati PLLC, my overall experience here was far less professional and reassuring. Attorney Anderson deserves credit, but my overall impression of Abood Law was not the best.

I have never met any law firms in the area that treat their clients as rude as this one. We initiated the conversation via email which I sent over some documents regarding custody, Jeffery Abood called me back. His attitude in the call was so mean that I almost wanted to hang up the phone call. You couldn’t believe that a male attorney would speak to a mom who tries to fight for her child in such a mean way. Plus, he didn’t even bother to read my documents, he thought I was the father. All he cared about was whether I have enough money to pay. He was very straightforward, he said if I don’t have the money, it’s meaningless to keep email/phone communications. Even though on their website they said that they provide free initial consultation, friends, there is no consultation, this is only humiliation that you will receive. My suggestion is to call other firms, let Abood serves their wealthy clients who paid 100k retainer but still haven’t won the case.

Matt is an outstanding lawyer. He is incredibly knowledgeable and kept me informed every step of the way. He always had time for my questions and made sure I understood everything taking place. In negotiations, he would advise me and always kept the reality of the situation in perspective. Hiring Matt for my automobile case was the best decision I could have made!
