I won’t even dignify this pace by calling it a company. Scum of Earth is about right. They just had me arrested for a bill over 15 years ago! I’m a Sunday School Teacher and Child mentor & was cuffed and degraded over an medical bill. How is this right? The bill was from before 2010. Because I failed to appear to a court date in 2010 from a judgement they filed on me from a medical bill. So this was me in 2010,I gave.birth to my 4th child and was a busy supermom, Foco Realtor, costumes for church production,Newsletter producer for MOMS club and Foco Preschool Co~op. Writer of popular Mom blog at the time. Of course I missed a court date! I probably didn’t know about. My daughter born in 2010 is starting high school! And I was just arrested over an ancient medical bill!!! How is that right? Should I sue? I want to

Spoke with Roxie over there after paying my balance. After I paid, she asked if I had any questions. I then asked one or two about my credit and she immediately became frustrated, refused to connect me to a supervisor/manager and then hung up the call. Nice way to treat a paying customer, glad she doesnt work for me!!

Nobody contacted me to pay anything, and I found out by seeing a derogatory mark on it credit. This will be reported to the government and disputed

Despite paying off the balance in full Account Brokers put a collections case on my credit report. The extremely rude representatives are unhelpful despite admitting they made a horrible mistake. Document every interaction and record every phone call with these dishonest people.

This manager name Roxie is not very helpful. I paid off my balance first week of August. I’m tired of hearing their explanation. I understand that they submit reports to credit bureau every beginning of the month but it’s almost 2 months now and they are still in my credit report. They deserved 0 star!

WORKED WITH THE MANAGER NAMED ROXIE TO PAY AN ACCOUNT. I UNDERSTAND THAT SOMETIMES ACCTS FALL THROUGH THE CRACKS AFTER THINKING THAT INSURANCE WOULD COVER SOME MORE I FOUND OUT THAT THIS ACCOUNT WAS CR, I WORKED TO GET IT PAID, AND EVEN AFTER ALL THIS THEY REFUSED TO DELETE IT FROM MY CREDIT. I WORK FOR A DEBT COLLECTOR AND WE DELETE ALL MEDICAL ACCOUNTS! I DONT UNDERSTAND THEIR LOGIC BEHIND THEIR EXCUSES. ROXIE ALSO HAS A BAD ATTITUDE AND LIKES TO THROW THINGS IN YOUR FACE LIKE SAYING" WELL YOU SHOULD KNOW SINCE YOUR A DEBT COLLECTOR". LET ME TELL YOU ROXIE, MY COMPANY IS MUCH MORE PROFESSIONAL THAN YOU WILL EVER BE. I HOPE THAT IF THEY EVER DO GET ANY CLIENTS LOOKING AT THEIR REVIEWS, THEY WILL SEE THAT ALL THIS COMPANY DOES IS DISTROY THE RELATIONSHIP THE CLIENT HAS WORKED HARD TO MAINTAIN JUST TO REPORT IT TO THE CREDIT BUREAUS AND NEVER DELETE IT ONCE PAID IN FULL.... NOT SETTLED EVEN!!

My bill has been paid but they refuse to remove it so is there any point of paying

I am laughing a little about the other reviews for Account Brokers. I worked with them in a professional manner, sending accounts to them. They were communicative, have their clients best interest as #1 (spoiler, the client is the person trying to collect money in which they are LEGALLY OWED) and diligent. If I ever had a question they would respond to my emails in a day or two and never hesitated to get on the phone with me to chat. I have also personally been in a position before of having medical bills referred to a Collections agency (not Account Brokers). Through that experience I was frustrated and confused. It was during that time as well that I was pretty gosh darn broke and getting this bill, and getting it sent to collections was scary for me. I simply asked for a Payment plan and as long as you hold up your end of the bargain everything will work out fine. Remember, it's not the Collections team fault you never got your bills, but it is YOUR fault for thinking "Oh I know this SHOULD cost something, but I never got a bill so I guess it's FREE" The Local DMV also doesn't care if you moved and didn't get your annual registration notice in the mail. Their stance is that you should know when you plates expire, seeing as the tags are on YOUR car, and if you fail to make the payments, you get hit with late fees. Accept some responsibility here peeps.

I talked to a Stacey in the office. Here you work so hard to pay off your debt, you pay in full, it’s been years since the account has been closed but yet they are the only company out of all the debt companies I’ve paid that will not request the credit people delete it. Isn’t that terrible?! You comply with what your suppose to do but yet they still want to hold you back and can’t send a simply request to the credit people to ask to be deleted. No joke, The only company that won’t do that. And that lady, was rude. Very disappointed

I busted my chin open in college by accident and went to the hospital when I was a FRESHMAN in college. That’s was over 7 years ago and they sent the bills to my college dorm even though I had MOVED away so my parents never got the bill from the hospital. And over 7 years later it’s still reporting on my credit yet I’ve paid every bill on time. I don’t understand that and I also had no idea about this bill at all so it’s ridiculous or I would have paid it myself to avoid collections. And they are no help!!

If I could give one star I would, or negative stars. I spoke with Roxie, who was a pain in the butt to get a hold of anyway. She was by far one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I get it, when you work for a collection agency you have to be a little tough. She was flat out accusing me of lying about previous payments made. She yelled at me on the phone and refused to give me the name of a superior I could speak to. I was calling to arrange payment in full and she was so rude that I will be insisting on dealing with someone else before the debt is paid.

I just called because I got three bills for my ex husband. My son has the same name as my ex husband. I called and told them to take my address off of their mailing list. They were very rude and transferred me to someone else. I explained to them my son is 16 and gets bills for my ex husband all the time and it stresses him out to the point where he wants to change his name. She told me to return his mail to sender and tell the post office this person doesn't live at my address. I explained to her my son has the same name as my ex husband so I can't do that. How is my son supposed to know what mail is for my ex before he opens it? I asked her where she got my address because I have been divorced 5 years and have nothing to do with my ex husband and have only owned my house 10 months. She said I don't know, but it came up as a possible address. I said well I would really appreciate it if you stop sending my ex husbands bills to my address. She said a sarcastic OK and hung up on me. Had she been nice I could have given her his address and phone number, but whatever. Very rude and disrespectful to wrongfully send bills to a 16 year old child.

Would give zero stars if I could. Absolutely RUDE people working at this place. Someone by the name of Stacy was suppose to help me today and she was TERRIBLE. YELLING and ARGUING with a customer? This is how this company thinks they can treat people. Had to ask to speak with someone else because Stacy was disgustingly rude. Awful company with backwards understanding of what it means to ethically conduct business.

Called to settle my debt with them (they turned one hospital bill into 5 so they could hit my credit the hardest) only to be told the person handling my account was out of town. After convincing them to let someone else handle it they transferred me. When I said I was not going to provide my employment info I stated no. (I've been called and harassed at work even though it's illegal. You have to sue them in order to make them stop. Which guess what, costs money. That's how they get away with it. If you can't afford to pay you debt then how will you afford a lawyer?) This made the woman angry and she said she couldn't help me then. For wanting to collect on debts they don't make it very easy and aren't nice about it.

Be aware when giving them credit card info for reoccurring payments. They process payments on cards when not authorized.

They are posting bad on my report over 20 dollers that says it is now 27 they can go to hell I had insurance at the time i was seen they said they did not acppet my insurance so they can burn in hell

These people just tried to harrass my family instead of talking to me. Incredibly unprofessional and crooked. I wish i could leave 0 stars. If anyone has given this place a good review it is proably because they were paid or solicited to do so. Everyone says tge same thing. They are tactless people who like to harass you for money...

Very poor. Disreputable practices.
