A year ago, I had an apartment that had mold through it and so I broke the lease because it was making me deathly sick. Totally legal and according to state law I am not responsible for anything because it is a health hazard and shouldn't be rented in the first place. A year later, after explaining this to them and asking if there is any way I can show them the evidence I have that this happened, they are still trying to take this money that I do not owe. What kind of law firm ignores the law!!! On top of that, any time I call them they just write it down as me disputing the charge, but then they send me a letter saying that I promised to pay it! I did no such thing! I am sick of being harassed by these people a year after the incident and lied to constantly about what I can and cannot legally do.
