My friend recommended lawyer, but my experience with her was extremely disappointing and honestly disturbing. She graduated from Yerevan State University and later earned a Master’s degree from Pepperdine, so I did not expect a high level of English communication skill. As expected, her English was poor at best (compared to other attorneys I've spoken with), and it was frustrating trying to have a clear and productive conversation. What disgusted me most was her mindset. Rather than giving balanced legal advice, she repeatedly emphasized getting as much medical treatments as possible, clearly with the intention of maximizing a payout. It felt less like legal representation and more like a scheme to squeeze the insurance company for as much money as possible. I even mentioned that my auto insurance premium could increase because of this (since I’m partially at fault), but she seemed far more focused on her own commission than the consequences I would face. It honestly made me wonder if this type of behavior is exactly why auto insurance rates in Los Angeles are so high. My friend told me that she lives in a luxury home in Porter Ranch, and based on the way she spoke, it’s not hard to see why. She came across as someone who stays busy running cases like a business, collecting commission by pushing claims to the limit (regardless of ethics or the fact that my own auto insurance premium could increase as a result). Overall, she seemed far more focused on money than doing what is right. There are many better lawyers out there with stronger English communication skills, professionalism, and integrity. I would not recommend Anahit to anyone.
