Worst legal business I have ever dealt with. Hired them 4 years ago to get rid of an old charge. I thought it may be a little complicated case, but steve said it won't be bad at all. At that point, i trusted his assessment and figured he researched the case and developed a strategy (nope). First, they charged me a ridiculous price. 1500$ They charged 1000$ more than everyone else.So I thought he must have been better than everyone else, so I hired him. Boy, was I wrong. When I finally got the court date and time (6 months later), they submitted someone else's case number, and the documents only changed the name, and it wasn't even the right county court or charge. Judge looked annoyed and decided to cancel the hearing. i was defeated and felt all the hope leave me. This company then called me and asked for 300$ more. I paid it, that was it. I've never heard from them again. Won't respond to e-mails or get called back. I was absolutely disappointed. I can't afford another lawyer yet because this guy burned me. 1800$ got me ONE aweful messed up court appearance, and that's it. Have no idea what to do now.

Where do I even begin? Stephen Meikle is hands down the MOST reliable, professional, outstanding lawyer anyone could hire. Words truly fail to encapsulate the man, he genuinely has your best interest at heart and is such a down to earth guy. He’s smart and humble and knows exactly what he’s doing. I had an unfortunate run in with the law, and this man poured his soul into getting me the best possible outcome with so many disadvantages working against me. I would leave zero stars if I could. I wish I would have fired him after the first time I met with him. He did not know what was going on with my case lied to me about the status of my lisense I learned the truth from the dmv. He asked me to do his job for him. He did not prepare me for my motion to. suppress, didn't have a legal argument or any legal presidence to back up what he said. He canceled 3 appointments without telling me. His gain assessor lied on my gain assessment. Do not hire or you will regret it. He is condescending lazy and overbooked. He was late to my last court appearance. One of my biggest regrets is hiring him. Don't do it

I had the pleasure of having Mr. Meikle as my defense attorney. I had contacted 4-5 others on a Monday with no response until 2-3 days later. Within 30 minutes on that Monday I received a phone call from Mr. Meikle himself and he gave me free consultation. Throughout the court processes, I had several panic attacks. Mr. Meikle took personal time out of his evenings off work several times and called me to check up on me. Not only did we chat about the court process and what was going to happen next, I got to know him on a personal level which was awesome. for the 4 months my case was open, he and his team were always there to answer questions and talk with me. I called to inquire about services. The person who answered asked me the circumstances I said Child Custody/Support. She requested further details then said they don't have time to represent a contested case, and asked if I thought the other party would contest. I responded with a no, she said we just do not have time to fight a case. She proceeds to say if you can email me the details (which I just had laid out to her in the phone call), I can see if the attorney has time to take this case on. Just say A. You aren't doing civil matters or B. You aren't taking new clients. How are you going to ask for details if you don't have "time?" Save yourself the phone call. This place is a joke. Perk: I didn't waste money on these guys.

Called for legal advice with free consultation as a guy friend that I know needed some advice and had a quick question or two. The girl that answered the phone was really nice but when she told me that the attorney was in court and getting out in only 10 minutes it was at that point she assured me that I would indeed be receiving a phone call from him. One and a half hours later I called the office again and was told once more That yes he's still calling you. Well it's 5:30 and of course their office is closed and no call. So offer of free consultation and promise to receive phone call was bogus. I object to this crummy service. Case closed.
