These people told me to file myself, get rejected, then contact them. The woman at ext 203 was incredibly dismissive and only wanted to get me off the phone as fast as possible. They told me I had a strong case but I highly doubt they even read the email I sent that describes it. Beyond that, again, they only wanted to get me off the phone and weren't at all interested in answering my questions. Do not waste your time with these people!!! They will abandon you when you need help and have no idea where to turn.

My story is not that much different from others, I having years of honorable service in the US Army. And being denied disability benefits from the VA. Affleck and Gordon changed my life. I am a veteran with PTSD, kidney disease and heart disease. Last year I was homeless with no financial support.After 1 year of having Affleck and Gordon represent me in my Veteran and Social Security disability claims I have a home and I am able to support myself financially. I am writing this review to warn potential clients, especially those in vulnerable situations, about my experience with attorney Harry Brenner. My mother hired Mr. Brenner to represent me in a Social Security Disability case. From the beginning, I was systematically excluded from my own legal process. Despite my being the actual client, Mr. Brenner failed to communicate with me directly. This is not just my perception; it is documented. I have an email where Mr. Brenner tells my mother, "I'd rather just explain it to you anyways," while simultaneously ignoring my own direct inquiries. This email chain also reveals a history of 14 prior emails between them, proving a sustained pattern of secret communication that deliberately cut me, the client, out of the loop. This fundamental breach of attorney-client confidentiality and loyalty had devastating consequences: · Critical evidence, including a strong psychological report, was omitted from my application, guaranteeing its failure. · The result was an "Unfavorable" ruling that now permanently damages my record and makes future approvals difficult. · His actions effectively sabotaged my case, and I am now left dealing with the fallout, including a massive overpayment debt. An attorney's primary duty is to their client. Mr. Brenner violated this duty by representing my mother's interests over mine. He demonstrated a clear conflict of interest, a failure to communicate, and a level of professional negligence that has caused me significant and lasting harm. I would not recommend this attorney to anyone. He fundamentally failed in his most basic ethical and professional obligations.
