Having Aldape Legal on retainer is probably the best decision I’ve ever made. They have saved me over $25,000 in potential damages and I’ll use them again and again. Highly recommend.

If i could rate 0 STARS I WOULD!! Whatever you do, do not use this law firm!! I paid them In a child support/custody case. Told me it was 5k in total & all they did was a mediation between me and the other party. Ended up trying to get the other party to pay 4k in lawyer fees on top of 2500 i already had paid then ended up telling me he wasn’t going to charge me the full price. I called him this morning to ask for an invoice of exactly what I got charged for 2500 plus 1k the other party was going to pay him and he told me “ are you freaking serious “ and proceeded to tell me he was withdrawing from my case and will not be refunding me any payment that was sent all because I asked what exactly was i being charged 2500 for when all he did was my mediation. Law firm is very unprofessional and he’s just rude overall!! I came in trusting this law firm to help me with my case and all they did was screw me out of money and did nothing I asked them to do! Choose better!!

I can’t say enough good things about Aldape Legal. I had an emergency and needed to get my kids back as soon as possible. The same evening I met with Bernie, he immediately started working on my case, and just a few days later, my kids were back home. Through one of the most stressful times in my life, Bernie was not only on top of everything legally, but also incredibly comforting and supportive, otherwise, I might have lost my mind! I even had a final exam during all of this that I was sure I had failed, and Bernie reassured me, even offering to send a letter to my dean explaining the situation. Absolutely terrible! Do not waste your time or money! He doesn’t care about his clients all he cares about is to drain your money

Mr. Aldape represented me for over two years in my divorce case, and although he is a personable guy and someone you wouldn’t mind having a few beers with, his representation was lacking and very similar to most other poor quality attorneys. Don’t let the fact that he’s also a judge fool you into thinking that he’s actually an effective attorney. If you’re looking for aggressive and responsive representation, you better look elsewhere. I never felt like Bernie really cared about my case, and he even said as much in citing “other priorities” as the reason calls and messages weren’t returned. In the end, I was left hanging, closing out needed paperwork on my own, and told that I needed to “assert myself”. There’s no way I could recommend a guy like this, and there’s more to say but I’m trying to not get nasty.
