Jeremy has been my attorney for almost 4 years now. He is direct and straight to the point. Any time I have needed an answer somewhat urgently he is on it! Thank you so so much for taking care of me!

I, Rebecca Hiemstra, highly recommend this law firm. I hired Mr. Aldridge for my brother's will. I cannot tell you what a relief it was to have someone so compassionate and knowledgeable. My brother was very ill and unable to go to Mr. Alridge, so Mr. Aldridge came to him at the hospital. Mr. Aldridge took his time with my brother and our family to explain everything with no pressure and no rush. He made a very stressful situation on our family go smooth and easy with his expertise, empathy, patience, and most importantly complete understanding of my brother's needs. Thank you so much Mr. Alridge!! Will and Rebecca Hiemstra

Jeremy Aldridge is the only way to go for your cases. Jeremy and his staff did an amazing job handling my case and got every detail needed to have my back. The way they handled every step of the process and him in the court room was top notch and I’d recommend 10 out of 10 times. Awesome job and the outcome we wanted!

I started looking for an attorney back in 2023. I went to several offices and had multiple consultations, but none of them felt right until I walked into Jeremy’s office. From the very first meeting, I knew he was the attorney I needed. Jeremy was sincere, truly listened to me, and was very BOLD — which is exactly what my case required. My case has been going on for two years, and throughout that entire time Jeremy has remained steady, strategic, and strong. He handled my divorce with professionalism and confidence, helped me settle property matters, and was always available to answer my questions and address my concerns. During one of the most difficult times in my life, he acted quickly to put an EPO in place when protection was needed, and ultimately helped secure a DVO to protect my children and me. That gave me peace of mind that I cannot put into words. I also have to recognize Kristen W., who plays a huge role behind the scenes. She keeps everything running smoothly — answering calls when Jeremy is in court, organizing paperwork, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. More importantly, she was there for me emotionally. She understood my fears and worries about my kids and was always supportive, patient, and reassuring when I needed it most. After two long years, I can truly say I’m grateful for how my case was handled and for the protection and stability they helped secure for my children and me. Jeremy and Kristen make an incredible team. I highly recommend Jeremy and his office to anyone who needs a strong, compassionate, and dedicated attorney.

My experience with Jeremy Aldridge of Aldridge & Birdwhistell Law Firm, PSC was extremely disappointing and ultimately damaging after more than two years of representation. Communication was consistently poor. Our one singular meeting in two years felt rushed and dismissive, I was cut off and not allowed to fully explain my side. He rarely spoke with me directly and instead communicated through his assistant, which made me feel unheard despite paying thousands of dollars for legal help. At trial, a police officer admitted on the stand that he specifically targeted me for a sting operation and had no legitimate cause for my arrest. Rather than clearly emphasizing the legal importance of that admission or building a strong defense around it, Jeremy seemed to assume the jury would understand on their own. They didn’t. He advised me not to testify even though I went in ready to explain my side of events and my reaction to the arrest which was on video. Looking back, sharing my version of events for my unlawful arrest would have helped my case. Without my voice, the jury only heard the prosecution’s narrative, and I was found guilty of “following too closely” despite no evidence. During trial, he appeared fidgety and nervous, which was alarming given how serious the situation was and after being told he was strong in court. I expected confident, prepared advocacy and did not feel that I received it. I was also shocked to learn during trial that he has a close personal friendship with the District Attorney prosecuting my case, something never disclosed to me and which raised serious concerns about conflicts of interest. To make matters worse, the District Attorney repeatedly offered to drop all charges if I agreed not to pursue a civil rights claim against the police department. That made me feel like the case was about protecting the police, not justice. After the verdict, when I asked about appealing, Jeremy stopped communicating with me entirely. After two years of waiting and spending significant money, I felt misrepresented, unheard, and abandoned. I would strongly caution anyone before trusting him with their case.

My husband passed away in late December 2024 and I had always heard good things about Aldridge and Birdwhistle law firm. So Barry Birdwhistle took me on as a client for the estate of my late husband. Barry was very emphatic and offered advice along the way. Kristin was very helpful throughout the process and they made an otherwise tough situation easier. I will definitely use them for any future legal needs I may have.

The worst law firm in Hardin County! Jeremy is a terrible at his job. He doesn’t seem to truly care about his clients or the outcome of their case. Acts like a lost child in the courtroom avoid him and this firm at all costs!!

Aldridge & Birdwhistell was excellent in helping me deal with a traffic offense without harming my driving record. They were very responsive and kept me informed throughout the process. The fee was reasonable. I highly recommend them.

I hired this firm to handle a complex civil litigation matter, expecting a professional and diligent approach. Unfortunately, my experience was an absolute failure due to what I can only describe as a fundamental lack of ethics and transparency. During the representation, the attorney consistently provided misleading information regarding the status of my case and ongoing negotiations. I later discovered, through direct communication with opposing counsel, that crucial information was intentionally misrepresented to me, and settlement offers were not relayed as required by ethical obligations. This deliberate dishonesty resulted in missed opportunities for a fair resolution and significant financial loss.

I strongly advise anyone seeking legal counsel to look elsewhere. My experience with Jeremy Aldridge was a nightmare of misrepresentation and dishonesty. From the start, Jeremy was full of promises, but his actions told a different story. He assured my family he had a solid strategy for my brothers case, but it quickly became clear he was completely unprepared for even basic court procedures. He also made false and misleading statements about the case's progress and potential outcomes, setting unrealistic expectations that were never met.

Response from owner

While I understand that criminal cases are emotional and difficult for family members, the claim that I was dishonest or made false promises is completely false. Every discussion, offer, and possible outcome was explained truthfully and in detail.

The client faced extremely serious charges, carrying potential penalties of life imprisonment. After careful review of the evidence and consultation, he chose—of his own free will—to accept a negotiated resolution during mediation. That agreement made him eligible for parole in eight years, whereas a conviction as charged would have required at least twenty years before parole eligibility.

Importantly, the Court personally questioned him under oath to ensure that his plea was being made knowingly, voluntarily, and without any promises outside the agreement. He answered those questions in the affirmative. The decision to accept the plea was his choice and his choice alone.

My role was to provide honest advice and achieve the best possible outcome under very serious circumstances—which is exactly what was done.
Jeremy Aldridge is absolutely amazing! If you are seeking excellent representation this is the firm for you. He has been practicing in hardin county for many, many years you want him in your corner no matter what. Shanda kept me in the loop and I utilized every communication platform they offered. I was updated with new developments momentarily. Thank you 😁

Jeremy represented me in my military divorce 10 years ago. I don't feel he took my best interests to heart. He actually left me outside the courtroom to go stand with my ex, ex's GF and my ex's attorney, leaving me to sit all alone waiting for our hearing. He berated me for texting my ex, whose infidelity left me furious, and for which I was ordered not to do.He had no compassion whatsoever.

We hired Jeremy from Texas over the phone. We already had one attorney who wasn't doing nothing for us, which we fired. Jeremy not only was super sincere about the situation but was on time with everything. We received Joint custody with all the 50% things that go along with it. We were in the courtroom for 2 years total. Only took 1 hearing with Jeremy. I'll not only recommend him 1000 times over but will always keep him on retainer. Can't thank this office enough!! You won't find a better family attorney.

The dude knows what he's doing. I'm not going to go into too much detail but police were trying to railroad me and if I didn't have Jeremy's help the justice system would have definitely liked to railroad me even though there was false claims that the police made. Even if you think a situation is not a big deal do not talk to police call Jeremy. Jeremy might be the last line of defense between a very corrupt Hardin county Police Force, and your freedom. The guy kicked ass.
