I hired Alia Adhal for a family guardianship case that has now been finalized, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Alia left no stone unturned. She made sure I had a strong, well-prepared group of people in my corner, each able to clearly attest to my ability to care for and raise my family member over his birth father. This review may be lengthy, but I would like to provide a comprehensive assessment of my experience with Alia Adhal. As I sought a divorce lawyer specializing in military divorces following a 21-year marriage, I had initially met with several lawyers, but it did not feel right due to various reasons. Upon visiting Alia Adhal's office, she was willing to sit down and attentively listen to my unique situation. She made a profound statement that has stayed with me to this day, stating "that a million things can change in 24 hours, and it is essential to take things one step at a time" . Notably, she did not discuss finances or costs, including the retainer, until the very end of our meeting. Unlike other lawyers I had met, her approach seemed less focused on financial aspects. We went over my situation, and throughout the 6 months that she was retained, she and her paralegal stayed with me every step of the way, kept me informed on what was going to be the next step in the process, even when we went to mediation. When I say she's one of the strongest lawyers I've ever seen, she made sure to represent me and was not willing to settle for any of the demands put on by the other lawyer, and that is exceptional to me. Lastly, when everything was finalized she even took the time to reach out to me personally months later and to see how things were going and that there to me as a lawyer who genuinely cares about her clients.

My experience with Alia Adhal was extremely frustrating. When I first met with her, she seemed confident and knowledgeable, so I decided to hire her. However, after paying an initial fee, I noticed she kept asking for more money without making much progress on my case. It felt like every time I reached out, there was a new excuse for why things were moving slowly, and I barely received any updates. Communication was spotty at best, and I often felt left in the dark about important details. Honestly, I felt like she was more focused on billing me than actually helping with my case. I would not recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy family lawyer. DONT HIRE HER. I wish I never did!

Let me tell you all about this wonderful lady and her wonderful staff!!! I have been fighting in court for YEARS to get my children back home with me after the hurricane took away our home and I had to let the children stay with their father's mother. I retained Ms. Adhal in April of 2024 and today April 22 2025 I was reunited with my children.
