Overall the stereotype of greedy lawyers fits in my experience. I was left with a tenth of the “settlement”. Communication and setting proper expectations are not valued here from a “client” perspective. It’s more like you’re being harvested as much as possible without it being terribly unethical or obvious. It was obvious to me, hence this review. On the pro side of it all, they did get things done expeditiously.

Whitney and the rest of Amara and Associates were always willing to break down the things I didn't understand. Whitney was always compassionate and seemed to care about what was best for me. It was not an experience I wanted but Amara and Associates made it easier to go through.

Found Amara & Associates through word of mouth. Thank you Owen! Extremely impressed with the explanation of their process and how they can help. Particularly as it pertains to in-house litigation. Kyle was insightful, understanding, and calm. Just the type of support you need when you are faced with an accident and need assurance that you have a team of experts on your side. Mine was a minor one, but every little bit helps.

There's a reason that Amara and her business is rated so highly. The professionalism and finese is the thing that encouraged me to trust them to present me. I would like to share my experience so others don't go through the same. Amara and her team were phenomenal, they truly were. However, the communication and customer service was a huge disappointment. Make sure to ask questions EVERY step of the way. Make sure you're understanding everything they're communicating. Call them continually and ask to speak to Amara specifically. Lastly, make sure you know the amount your settlement is going to be before your case is closed. It's the reductions that took me by surprise and caused me distrust and frustration

Worst experience of my life

Amara and her team were such a pleasure to work with! I had thought my case wasn’t the most “exciting” case and any firm wouldn’t put in adequate work, but they proved me wrong. As soon as they picked up the torch to represent me with the insurance company, my life got so much easier! I was only contacted to confirm information and was never bothered by a claims manager again. I know they fought for me and worked to get the best settlement they could and I am so happy with the end result. I recommend them to anyone who needs an accident attorney!

Very poor communication. The constant revolving door of different lawyers made the process feel like I was pulling teeth for any resolution. I would recommend to stay away from this law firm.

Amara and Associates will fight for you! My own insurance company wouldn't pay out on the underinsured portion of my policy. I hired Amara and Associates and they made sure I got a fair settlement. They actually went after the insurance company for not negotiating in good faith after the underinsured motorist portion was settled. They got me an additional settlement from the insurance company. Amara always got back to me right away when I had a question. This is an outstanding law firm!
