I have never wrote a bad review for any business before but I felt like I had to write this one to spare someone from haveing to go tru what had to. Last year, I went to the American Immigration Law Center after I did a a google search for an imigation lawyer in detroit, the reviews seem good so i decied to hire them to help me with by paperwork because I only had 90 days for preparing all my doc. I went to their office, and they did a little interview about my case. And they deposited $500 for it. They also promise they gonna charge the rest of $500 if I received my green card successfully. 80 days go by. But nobody from that office notified me what's going on.I guess they don't care the value of green card of other people. And they obivouly took advantage of people who just got into the country. They left their office the week before my papers were due without notice a week before my papers were due.I went crazy for the time emergnecy. On the 5th day, the wife(receptionist) acted nomally and seated calmed. I went to their office all the way from Sterling Heights and had been "forced" to sign off the paper work that if I take the paper work away, there is abusolutely no refund. I wasn't happy at all for years. They are scamers, and they knew I can't do s**t back to visa period. And guess what? If I lost that chance, I won't be able to get my green card! The lady was very rude and she don't give s**t to what happen to customers at all.This attorney almost ruined my case by going on vacation without notice the same week my case papers were due.
