I have been in process for almost a year & have been paid in full for months. I am constantly pestering & get the same answers. Hoping for a resolution to get my money back otherwise I will be filing a complaint soon.

Five stars. They gave me payments of $100 a month. Which was great halfway through I was able to pay them off to start Court proceedings. The phone calls . Going through a divorce. Highly recommended. Special thanks to Brooke Elliott

These two allowed me to stay relaxed throughout the duration of my case GREAT conversations. Honestly, retaining this firm is one of the worse decisions of my life. I decided to seek help with chapter seven bankruptcy filing in Jan 2025. Unable to pay the $2,400 retainer, I was not able to officially hire the firm until August 2025. After successfully paying the $2,400 retainer fee and providing all required documents, I could no longer get ahold of anyone at the firm. They never filed any paperwork, and the only response I did receive was that I was still missing documents. I officially cancelled their representation and now I am having the most difficult time getting back the $2400 retainer. I am already in financial straits and this added an unnecessary burden. Please, DO NOT use this firm. My new attorney and I are in the process of reporting them to the BAR association and bankruptcy trustee. Very unprofessional and horrible experience. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

**NOT VETERAN FRIENDLY** ***SCAM*** These people are straight-up scam artists. They will tell you one thing on the phone, and then when they have your money, they back track and say they didn't say that. I HAVE THE WHOLE PHONE CONVERSATION RECORED. They will tell you whatever you want to hear to get your money. Bryan Barch and James Doran are the scam artists involved. Completely disrespected a 100% disabled veteran and scammed me out of my money. They are full of empty promises. ***BEWARE***

I received a notice about an old debt that I believed was paid off two years ago. I later discovered I had missed one payment, and the creditor, Stenger & Stenger, threatened legal action for the full amount. To resolve this, I hired Amourgis & Associates to negotiate a reduced settlement and avoid court. They charged over $700, so I chose to pay in bi-weekly installments. In May 2025, an associate named Justin repeatedly called, pressuring me to switch to a faster payment plan. He claimed Amourgis could not fully negotiate with Stenger until my bill was fully paid. I completed my final payment on June 11th. A week later, Justin informed me that Amourgis could not assist because Stenger & Stenger had already taken the case to court. When I finally received the paperwork, I learned that a judgment had been entered against me in May—before my payments were finished. Amourgis & Associates continued to collect payments knowing they could not help. I believe this was deceptive. I do not recommend this law group. Update: After the owner responded (see below), Justin emailed me to inform me that they are closing my case and will not issue a refund. Please take the 1-star reviews seriously. If you experience a situation like mine, consider choosing a more competent law group or save your money and handle it on your own.

The communication was a little rough in the beginning, but after a while, the communication was great. I recommend if you need a team of Attorneys that care about you, then Amourgis is right for you. I had a situation that was not in my favor to say the least, however Amourgis & Associates reached out to me and within a matter of two days was able to reach an agreement to clear me from something I definitely never thought I’d be in. I am very grateful for the opportunity to had have represent me in such a manor. I am forever grateful. Thank you Amourgis & Associates again for everything.

This firm reached out to me about tax relief, and I responded to see what they're about. Since telling them that I won't pay them $500 to get $200 worth of tax relief and they're wasting both of our times (this being after they tried to pressure me into paying them $50 every two weeks and I said no multiple times), they have contacted me multiple times a day, harassing me with phone calls, text messages, and even mail. They are relentless and will not stop harassing you if you even answer their first time reaching out to you. I can't imagine why anyone would go to someone who only wants your money and has no respect for you, your time, or anything else. This firm is anathema. I hope with the way they treat potential clients that they don't succeed. They deserve to not even have clients with how abysmally they consider you.

Horrible communication, never call when they say they will its always 45 minutes to and hour after they say their going to call, then the people iv had to deal with have bad phone service and have to cancel the call anyways would not recommend
