In the early 2000's, I contacted Joseph Anderson because a family member of mine, an adult with a mental disability, was being psychologically abused at a group home. As you can imagine, I was distraught and confused about what to do to make the situation better. I ended up taking a governmental approach, with a complaint, rather than a legal one. However, after all these years, I still remember how compassionate and empathetic Mr. Anderson was. After I spoke to him, I had a new level of confidence knowing that if something did go wrong and I needed a lawyer, he would help me. That allowed me to feel calmer...to sleep at night, so to speak. Imagine...it's 17 years later and I STILL remember his name and how much he helped me and I hadn't even actually hired him!
