Alexa was my attorney for a street racing case, throughout the process I was never invited to their actual law firm to discuss my case or go over for any other reason throughout the entire process which felt unprofessional, instead we met at a coffee shop. Pieces of evidence were never shared with me after repeatedly requesting (highway footage of the alleged race) It felt she didnt fight as hard as I wanted. When plea deals were brought up that I didn't like/agree too it appeared as she didnt want to fight for better deals or even adjustments to the terms (not saying she didn't, but i didn't ever feel confident that she actually did, as when i requested for better deals/different terms i received lots of push back from her) This made me feel less confident that she genuinely wanted to provide me with the best out come and more that she just wanted the case to be over with. After receiving a second opinion from a different law firm, i quickly realized the deal Alexa was pushing me to take was indeed not the best deal based on the circumstances, I took what I was told by the other attorney and told Alexa I would only accept the deal if the terms met the advice of what the other attorney told me was a reasonable deal, in exchange i got half of what was requested. I truly wanted to take my case to trial but did not have enough faith in Alexa to put that responsibility in her hands based on how I felt about the plea deals alexa was bringing me. If lawyers weren't so expensive I would have hired the second attorney and went to trial. All that said, Alexa did end up getting me close to the deal I had decided I was okay with. I know she is a newer lawyer and knew that when I hired her. I would just recommend anyone considering Appelmen to consider a better firm if you can afford it, but if you cannot afford that, they are definitely an Ok option

Eric Doolittle with Appelman Law Firm is one of the most incredible lawyers I have met. He helped our family through a very emotional and scary time. He returned my call at 9pm the first night, moments after I contacted him and was on the phone with me again the next morning at 6am. He walked us through every step of the process, responded to phone calls and texts like we were his only client. Even if I was asking the same question twice, he never was irritated with me. We not only felt supported for what we were going through emotionally, but his honesty and guidance was invaluable. I Do NOT RECOMMEND, Facing. A Serious Felony Case They Bugged Me For Payment Til I Paid. After I payed no one has been in contact with me consistently. I have to always look for Jennifer because her communication skills are trash. All the good reviews that i've seen must be made up. I haven’t been getting no good service. i thought i was hiring avery but he passed me to someone who doesn't keep in touch with their clients. i Don’t even know if there’s reviews are real. The communication has been horrible . I have court the following day and My so called lawyer hasn’t been in contact with me. I’m very worried and this company is Not putting my mind at ease and I feel like they don’t have my best interest. They just took my money and are not providing me with the option’s. I feel like I wasted my money on something that I could have gotten On My Own. If Your Looking for good representation, choose a different place they don’t care about my case to call me or keep me in the loop.......... UPDATED....
