Attorney Aregood was the attorney that handled my Aunt's estate. I was one of several beneficiaries of her estate. There was no reading of her will, at least not with me present. Neither he nor the executors of her estate provided me with a copy of her will. I had to go to the Luzerne County Courthouse and pay to get a copy of her will. My Aunt left part of an annuity to me and all the paperwork was sent to the wrong address and I received the paperwork late and had to pay interest on the inheritance tax. My Aunt also left me some HH bonds. Attorney Aregood sent all that paperwork for the HH bonds to an address that does not even exist and I was late receiving it and I had to pay interest on the inheritance tax for the HH bonds. One of the HH bonds is still earning interest and the interest credited to that bond was still going into my deceased Aunt's savings account which the executors have control of and they received the interest instead of me. Attorney Aregood also filed the inheritance tax return late on the estate which resulted in thousands of dollars of interest added to the inheritance tax that I and the other beneficiaries had to pay. At first when I would ask Attorney Aregood questions about where some of her property was disposed of he would respond. After a while he would no longer respond to my questions and I asked to see certain paperwork from the estate such as the estate account and he would just ignore me. He no longer communicates with me to any questions I have. He also lies, he told me he was going to do certain things and he never did them. Gary W. Zafia

This man is rude and purposely intimidating. He takes on cases, but then cannot handle the workload and will let it sit. If you ask status, he will treat you with complete disrespect. Other attorneys could run circles around him.
