Would not recommend. They get in touch when it's convenient for you and don't make things clear. I trusted them with a very sensitive and important case and I would never work with them again. They charged me money and I was confused as to why, because I had paid the retainer and only talked with my attorney twice. They let me know I would be getting a new attorney because mine was leaving the firm. Never got a call, never responded to my billing questions but set up a hearing without me knowing and dismissed my case. TOTAL waste of money. Absolutely would think twice before using them.

The whole experience has been terrible. It took forever for the communication and they notified me they couldn't took the case on my behalf. The dispute process for the refund also got extremely difficult.

These deceitful people don't deserve a single star. They call into question the names of other lawyers. They charged me $5,000 upfront and did nothing. The paralegals who answer the phones are rude and are more lost than Gulliver in dwarfland. I waited over two months to get my money back, and it took a lot of work. Despite doing nothing, they charged me $250. If you don't want to be scammed, don't contact them.

Their billing system seemed "sketchy". I was overcharged and cannot seem to get any credit/refund. I have asked for a copy of my file several times. My lawyer is not returning any of my calls yet I still receive an invoice for communications within the law firm. I was told by another attorney from a different law firm to file a grievance with the State Bar if Texas. I should have checked BBB.org first before engaging with this law firm. I never received any of my retainer money back.

A bad law firm. The are good charging but at the time they have to represent you or help with your case they just disappear, don’t answer the phon and if they do the talk in a bad way.

I found Alex and due to the other types of cases he was successful with, I chose him. He didn't make a lot of promises on the phone and gave me a realistic impression of what I was in. He made me feel confident that he would be able to get me the best possible outcome.

I thought i was getting help i did not get any help they took my money and i am not sure if they were charging someone on my account and someone else on their card but my account wasn't being paid received invoice it was incorrect i just started with them and it was a disaster gave me a lawyer laura who really didn't do her job i let them know what was going on from the start i should have known it was no good from how it started did not even get consult and they took money from me, i was so confused on who was my lawyer and who to speak to but all i know is i had a bad experience hope no one else does, i am fighting for a custody issue and this is a serious one if you can't take on the case like i said do not take it i let them know that, just do your research, it is just odd you get run around no one returns your call in finance department.

My sisters and I actually had a consultation with a sweet lady named Elizabeth about a medical malpractice suit. Long story short. After that I was sent a proposal. I opted to have the proposal sent to my oldest sister. She never received it. I called and spoke to a very unprofessional girl named Tammy! She was trying to answer questions that she was qualified to answer. I’m addition, she works there, therefore, she can see what’s going on in the system. She couldn’t tell me any basic information about my case. So I asked her to have an attorney give me a call because what she was telling me was contradicting information than what we were previously told. A week has gone by and I’ve left several messages. No call back. Then I started calling and the phone would just ring. Not even a voicemail. I’m starting to think that they blocked me or something. So I dialed *67 before dialing, and I’d get the voicemail. I don’t want to bash the whole company for a few bad apples, but I strongly WOULD NOT recommend this firm! If your case is important to you, and you want someone to take you seriously, you better find some where else to look for help!!!

Alex is a great car wreck lawyer. If you need attorney that gets the job done right, Alex is the man for you. Alex is extremely knowledgeable and understands the complexity of any legal need.

My experience with Alex Hernandez was excellent. If I need an attorney in the future, I will return for his professionalism and diligence.

SCAM LAW FIRM! Avoid these people, regardless the fact that they are the LAW PEOPLE(!!!), which I would expect minimum loyalty and honesty; they can easily tell lies, manipulate words against you and your case, take your money, talk positive for long time, waste your time, then they talk negative saying that they can't even win the case but I would still have to pay 100K!. What!!! This law firms more disappointing and more unfaithful than my case that I applied for seeking justice!. They promised a full refund and I want to ask publicly WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO PAY MY FULL REFUND? as I quitted case as you forced me!

The Law offices of Alex R. Hernandez Jr. is the worst law firm you can have. They waste your time and money, the senior lawyer promises full refund incase of me quitting the case, just because they don't think they will win the case, and even if we win, I would have to pay around 100k (!!!!) to them. And they offered full refund incase I quit the case with them. I accepted quitting but they didn't do the full refund as they promised. They wasted 5 months and few thousand $$$.I emailed many times to them, but no response, no refund as well for sure!. They are the LAW People and They don't even keep their commitment simply to pay FULL REFUND!!! What kind of dilemma is this?? Can America's law people tell lies like this just for few more bucks???

Hired this law firm for help on a family case and they never got anything done, they kept charging me outside of the retainer because “they don’t consider the retainer money like all law firms do” so you will be paying extra here. They changed my attorney four times and each time the new attorney had to catch up with the case they charged me this ridiculous rates even though I never requested a new attorney . DO NOT HIRE THEM. You will regret it. I lost all my money and ended up looking elsewhere.

Terrible company I reached out to this firm to help me in a situation where I had believed I had been taken advantage of and was searching for legal help. After being set up with an attorney for about 3 weeks in feb-march of 2021 I was told I’d be getting a new attorney (for reasons unknown). The new attorney appeared to get the ball rolling. A few months went by and I was really left out if the loop of what was going on after repeatedly asking to stay updated on my case! Fast forward to August my lawyer emails me after 3 week of not hearing from him to tell me his sick. Two weeks after that I get a call from the firm telling me that my lawyer did not work for them any longer & I’d be getting a new lawyer yet again. I was told that he would start the case over and I would not be charged for a certain amount of time due to everything I had been through with this company up to this point. I email the new guy & never heard back from him only to be assigned a new attorney that I’m sure I will not hear from. I called to the office multiple times to talk to someone about what was really going on & never got a call back or email. I got absolutely nothing but hundreds of dollars down the drain for a case I truly needed help with. Please do not use this law firm they’re scammers!

Absolutely no customer service, aside from Legal Match, a finder service constant fake responses to my lawyer query. It was harassment by email, text, phone all the while pretending to be Alex. I'm not sure this firm was even in the loop but I did find the firm's real number, left a message with receptionist and was still ignored.

Save your money! I had no idea who was representing me much less a game plan going into the courtroom. My first “attorney” was fifteen min late on first court date. My second “attorney” was not only late also but told the courts I agreed to things absolutely nobody would agree to! Never even looked at my check stubs to figure amount of child support. Absolutely unreal what happened in that courtroom and to this day I’m still suffering from it!
