Arthur LaCilento is an honest advocate for your children. I have had on-going custody and support issues for over 5 years. My first attorney was not getting the job done so I retained Art. It was one of the best decision I have ever made in my life. Art and his office (his wife Susan is phenomenal) took the stress away and handled everything for me. He has been honest in everything from custody issues to support issues to the billing of his hours. I have watched him fight for my children and also educate me on the law. He has been very concerned about the needs of my children and about doing what is best for them. Sometimes we as parents have a hard time separating emotions from legal issues. I would get upset with the system and feel hopeless. Art knows the law well and he would always explain things and get me mentally ready. He has taught me that patience and procedure are very important when children are involved. Because of this, I have had no surprises. He is relentless in his fight for my children and in doing what is best for them. He is kind and has a big heart, but can be a real fighter when it is necessary. His knowledge of the law gives him an edge when filing legal paperwork. I would not hesitate to retain him for any divorce or family law issues.

Art LaCliento knows the law. He is an advocate for children and in my experience will always do what is best for your child. I retained him to settle custody and support issues and was very happy with the outcome. His office is easy to work with and they are all very knowledgeable. His wife Susan is very detailed and organized and they made a great team while fighting on our behalf. I would not hesitate to hire him again for any family law issues.

It's been over a year since my son passed away in DCFS's custody and Art still has not bothered to get me, a copy of my son's entire case file, DCFS's file, my son's medical or mental health records, nothing. I keep telling him that I want my father-in-law to be my 16 year old daughter's legal guardian, just to be done with court, but he keeps pushing for reunification prolonging this case further. I've told him, these social workers are not giving us referrals for free classes, they remove our names from the list on days we have to test. They're NOT going to help us get our teenager back because of what happened to our son. I have evidence of the social workers trying to cover up their mistakes by altering documents and falsifying reports. Art doesn't want to hear anything about this because Art used to be one of them as county council, fighting to keep children away from their parents and now he's "representing parents" Art was loud and aggressive in court but also when he spoke to me. I was just released from the hospital with a diagnosis of major depression disorder, recurrent, severe with psychotic symptoms after losing my first born son and then Art wants to intimidate me by threatening to stop representing me if I didn't settle and then lied that it wouldn't effect my lawsuit. After reading my review on Yelp, Art filed a motion to withdraw as my attorney. Him and Vincent Davis are one in the same.
