Mr. Aguilar was AWESOME!!!!! Got 7 felony charges dropped $65,000+bond. Left a message on Thursday, he called my son (J.T) in jail and called me back on a SATURDAY! All I can say is be respectful, don't keep calling and calling, he's very busy, be patient. Four days later, my son was in court in Big Spring and released on a $15,000 bond that afternoon. Five stars aren't enough. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! MUCH RESPECT TO THIS ATTORNEY!!!! I forgot to add that he was COURT APPOINTED. For whatever reason, all these negative comments didn't go "their" way, don't believe everything you read. Like I said before, don't keep calling and calling and expect him to be happy representing and returning your call. BE RESPECTFUL AND PATIENT.

I had my doubts at the beginning but after he represented my boyfriend in his recent trial, I would recommend him to anyone. Yes, his caseload is full as a public defender but even if we were able to pay an attorney he wouldn’t have had a better outcome.

Worst attorney you can get, barely reviews cases, rolls over for the DA, HORRIBLE work ethic. All round terrible attorney, IDK how he still gets cases.

If you have Artie request a different attorney IMMEDIATEALY. Artie will not answer phone calls. He does not own his own work building to avoid paying taxes. He works from home. Artie works from home and can not ansewer clients phone calls. He is rude. All I ask for him is when my dads court dates were. He can not even provide me with that. His called back once and during this conversation he told me that this was my dads case not mine. When I wanted more details. He is not professional. This is my dads case and as his daughter I deserve to know how his taken care of my dads case. He did it poorly because he is a court appointed attorney. Good luck with working with Artie because you will need.

This guy was great! He was hired by the state as my friends court appointed attorney and he got him the deal he wanted and got him right out of jail! Great guy in my books!! Thanks Artie!!

If I could give him negative stars I would 100%. My husband had the worst luck of getting him as his court appointed attorney, because we just weren't making enough to have a personal paid attorney. He does not return phone calls, text messages, or emails. It's like he doesn't listen when we told him about what happened the night that everything started, we have given him more than enough for him to file a motion to discover, and even a motion to dismiss. We will sit in court for almost 2 hours before he even acknowledges us, only to say reset. He has done nothing on any of the offers from the DA, nor made a counter offer. We've been dealing with this since April(first court date) it is now November and I not lying when I say my husband has had maybe 20 minutes of his time, but far from undivided attention. And we watch as more and more people are assigned to him. He is a personal injury attorney, not a criminal attorney. He doesn't care about his clients, their families, or trying to get justice. We watched multiple people come and go in court today, one which was a first degree felony max sentence life, assault of a peace officer and he walked on 7 years deferred adjudication probation, but when it comes down to it he does absolutely nothing to fight for his clients. He laughed in my face today, and asked me what he should do? Follow up with everything we told you, show some sort of initiative on trying to help. I literally hate this man, and feel sorry for anyone who has to have him represent him.

I watched this Man work my fiancés case. He is diligent and faithful. He is an excellent attorney. I honestly put my trust in my freedom and my life in his hands. Thank you Artie for everything you did.

This individual ( Artie ) ignores his clients knowing family are looking for answers. At least he could do is call back with the smallest details but no just wants to talk over you, think he doesn’t need to be civil. What can a person do if you can’t transfer the case to a respectful lawyer.

Does not return phone calls or emails is the absolute worst defense attorney I have ever seen. Watched him in action as a jury memeber and I could have done a better job defending that kid just using experience from watching Law & Order. It is no wonder he us being used as a public defender because he just rolls over does what the DA wants. He does not care about his clients, the law, justice, truth or fairness.
