This review is 20 years too late. I engaged this law firm to represent me in a Labor and Employment issue that dealt with an age discrimination complaint. My case was investigated by a EEO Civil Right Division review process as a federal employee and as the plaintiff. The law firm did advise me the report did conclude and establish favorable "prima facie" standard as evidence was sufficient to establish a fact that discrimination did occur. I believe I was told by the law firm my case did get assigned to the EEOC in Washington DC. The law firm advised me they would not go forward with my complaint and wanted to me settle the case. Reluctantly I did at my own misfortune. Here is where I made my mistake. One: I did not ask for a copy of the report. Two: I did not get a second opinion. Third: The law firm did not as a courtesy give me a copy of the report voluntarily. This past week I contacted the law firm and request a copy on 3 attempts. My calls were never returned. I will now reach out to other entities and see if I get results. My advice to anyone wanting to get representation in the area Labor and Employment law-is to look elsewhere but not in the Binghamton area. Binghamton is a small town (with no future) with small town law firms whose only objective is to take on "slam dunk " cases. This law firm lacks the courage, compassion and commitment to fight for the plaintiffs like me. This reminds me of the movie Philadelphia where Denzel Washinton character as the attorney had the courage to pursuit the case on behalf of Tom Hanks character. You know how the movie ends. I have many regrets about engaging this firm- but it will take larger much larger law firms from cities like NYC or Washinton DC to get the courage, compassion and commitment you will need. I only have myself to blame

I called them on January 30, 3026 to get a buy out price. They said they were contacting the company and will call me back. They never called the company at all. They gave me a price out of my range. They add $1500 to the price I owe. I will never this taken care of because they are bias and is not willing to work with people of color. They are so unprofessional. They gave me a price of $3000 dollar and I owe only $2300. I get you will never get paid at all.

If you are looking for the worst real estate attorney in the United States, go to Cosette G Cole. Terrible professional service, prefers office parties over getting a transaction finalized, does not understand how to read a rent roll, and is an expert on dragging a deal for over 5 months! Delegates accountability and responsibilities to other people. Incompetence and unprofessionalism is an understatement!

Angelina was truly one of the finest real estate attorneys I have worked with over the years. Her character, work ethic, and results were unmatched. In my work as a real estate professional—broker, investor, and redeveloper—Angelina became my trusted attorney for both personal real estate transactions and client real estate representation. She was exceptional to work with and particularly effective alongside professionals who are direct, diligent, thorough, and results-oriented. She was consistently accessible, highly responsive, and proactive, which inspired complete confidence at every stage of a deal. She handled transactions ranging from straightforward, all-cash, non-contingent deals to highly complex, structured transactions with multiple moving parts, including portfolio financing, hard-money investments, and redevelopment projects. She worked effectively with attorneys for all parties involved, consistently protecting her clients’ interests through strong due diligence, sound judgment, and strategic advocacy. Prior to her retirement, Angelina took the time to send a personal email to me. Her message was thoughtful and meaningful, especially coming from a true giant in the real estate legal profession, and it reflected the same professionalism, clarity, and respect she consistently demonstrated throughout her career. While her retirement is well-earned, she will be sincerely missed. Thank you, Angelina, for such a consistently exceptional experience and for the knowledge and insight I gained through your representation. I am profoundly grateful for her time, counsel, and advocacy, and I pray God’s continued blessings over her as she enters this next chapter of her life.

Cosette Cole is by far the worst attorney I have ever used. I was warned before and I wish I listened. This office is SLOW. They DO NOT respond. Cosette will delegate blame for problems onto her clients! She is terrible. Do not use them for anything especially Real Estate. This deal took months to close and she still pushed it off. There was not a single email she ever responded to and getting ahold of her is a nightmare. She does not carry any fiduciary duties to her clients. She does not specialize in anything especially the easiest of them all Real Estate Law. She does not act on behalf of her clients. If her paralegal knew better they would stop working for such a terrible attorney before they have a bad name too! Never use EVER!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve worked with many attorneys but she is by far the WORST.

Angelina did the work for my house purchase. Very friendly and helpful. She really knew what she was doing and how to explain it in a way I understood.
