Highly disappointed despite liking Eric as a person. Very expensive, slow, dragged out, and most importantly unproductive experience. Overwhelmed paralegals, overloaded casework, requested motions not filed (agreed upon motions). Digging out from the rubble of past two years and tens of thousands of dollars wasted here with new attorney who is able to somehow file things within days this firm wasn’t able to in over two years. Shamefully abysmal experience. If anyone at the firm is reading this, I dare you to challenge my review. Take a look at my case. You know what did and did not happen. Also, thanks for a disorganized file transfer to my new attorney as icing on the cake.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of working with Eric and his firm on a legal matter, and I must say, it was incredibly disappointing. From the outset, I had high hopes that Eric would provide the expert legal guidance and support I needed. However, my expectations were not met. Despite my trust in his abilities, the handling of my case left much to be desired. One of the major issues I encountered was the unexpected additional expenses incurred due to what seemed like a lack of motivation from the paralegal. It's disheartening to think that important aspects of my case were neglected simply because someone didn't "feel like" doing the work. Furthermore, crucial elements of my case, such as an intensive discovery and disposition, were not pursued as promised. This lack of action undoubtedly had a negative impact on the outcome of my case and left me feeling unsupported and unprotected. During our court appearance, it became apparent that adequate preparation had not been conducted. The lack of organization and understanding of my case was concerning, to say the least. Additionally, the failure to advocate for my interests and request the opposing party to cover my legal fees only added to my frustration. Moreover, I paid for services, such as a guardian ad litem, that were never provided. This, coupled with the subsequent request for further payment despite the shortcomings in representation, left a sour taste in my mouth. In conclusion, while Eric may be a nice person, my experience with his firm fell far short of my expectations. I do not feel that my interests were adequately protected or supported during this process. I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering working with this firm. *** also beware theses attorneys seem to be altering their review ratings****

My divorce dragged out for over 3 years. It was frustrating to say the least. Every time we would go to mediation, court or any kind of hearing, Eric had his ducks in a row while my ex and her lawyer acted like this was the first time we had met. Eric can get busy and be hard to get in touch with but at the end of the day, when you really need him to get the job done, the job GETS DONE! It's been a long 3 1/2 years but Eric did everything he said he would. I would highly recommend him and his team.

No medical malpractice due to conflict of interest; everyone or their spouse works for the only two hospitals in Charlotte. They mostly handle divorce cases. Staff was very unprofessional, and unkind.

Although my ex was being difficult, not wanting to produce papers, sign or attend anything, I became concerned when things were postponed over and over for what I thought was more than necessary. Due to a rise in cases, I would recommend following up and to make sure you are getting a status update when needed. So, after a year, when my ex finally agreed on a settlement I contacted Eric and he was able to draw up the consent order very quickly so my ex could sign before changing his mind. Eric was also able to get the papers expedited to make the divorce official. I am so thankful for Eric and his team for getting me through a difficult time and situation in my life.

Eric kept in contact with me to help prepare me on what to expect going in to mediation and during mediation he was great at ensuring the goals I had coming in to mediation were met.
