Nick was very helpful pointing me in the right direction and took the time to hear my situation. He really helped me out when I had no clue where to start. Thank you!

Years ago I wrote a bad review for Nick, I have no idea what email address I left that review under, but it was left under my name Tepher Church, I can no longer access whatever email that was to erase it, because that negative review was very inaccurate. I was much younger and naive then, and looking back, I didn’t have a case for that situation. I have since discussed this with Nick and stated I tried but couldn’t erase the inaccurate negative review. Taking this time to give accurate feedback, which is the fact that Nick was ready to defend me in my workplace discrimination case, despite that review, which at the time he still reached out to me, despite the negative review still actively posted, which says a lot about his character. I think Nick is the best attorney in his field, in the Dane County area 👍🏻 Thank you for considering my previous case in 2023, though services weren’t needed due to a successful mediation, which Nick was rooting for, on my behalf, which is also telling to his character.

It has been a pleasure working with Atty. Fairweather.

Attorney Fairweather (Nick) was very personable, approachable, knowledgeable, and helpful! He thoroughly understands the law and can explain it in layperson's terms. Nick put my mind at ease, and I would recommend him highly to anyone needing legal counsel. His office staff (Eze) is also very helpful and supportive.

I have been trying for quite some time to find the very best words that would appropriately sum up the positive experience that I had with Attorney Fairweather and Hawks Quindel. Should you ever find yourself in need of an Employment rights attorney, please consider Attorney Fairweather. From start to finish of my case I was treated with the utmost of respect and professionalism. Communication was seamless. I always felt like Nick had my back and were negotiating with my best interest in mind. Jeanine Anderson who is Nick's legal assistant stayed in constant communication with me and I always had an understanding of where my case stood thanks in part to her vast knowledge and obvious dedication to the client. Hayley Archer was an intern for the last year of her schooling and is now an attorney with the firm, helped me immensely as well. Going through this process was a huge challenge for me and very uncomfortable at times, but I always felt that the team had my back and that they were pushing for the best possible outcome. I cannot say enough good things about Attorney Nick, Jeanine and Hayley!!!

Competent, professional, sincere, amazing listener, and empathetic. Atty: Fairweather will be very honest with you whether or not he is the right attorney for your case. If he says yes, be assured that he will fight for you.

Nick has worked on a number of matters for me and for friends of mine over the years. He’s always my first suggestion when someone asks for a referral for employee-side representation.

Zero stars for zero help, though it's not an option. Contacted via phone because he's listed as a wrongful termination/discrimination lawyer expertise in retaliation cases which I have, and have good evidence in which I strongly feel I can easily prove my case with, mentions free consultation, great right? wrong. thought I'd see what he thought before I filed my suit with the courts as representing myself..flatout shut down over the phone by a secretary, they didn't know anything about my case,or the evidence, no reason why not, just a flat out short not interested. Perhaps they themselves discriminate against what type of people's cases they take. A terrible practice approach.

Response from owner

Tepher, I apologize for your experience with our firm. I regularly offer free consultations to potential new clients but cannot do so in all cases. Our intake staff – which handles all calls from potential new clients – is well trained and takes detailed notes on all of these calls. I assume they did so in your case and that you were not declined without an opportunity to explain your situation. Unfortunately, I cannot speak with every person referred to me or to our firm. I wish you the best in resolving your employment dispute.

Nick Fairweather
