This attorney sees the truth and fights for it. From the start, he was kind, honest, and straight to the point. Everything was explained clearly without wasting time or money. I always knew where things stood and what actually mattered. If you want a criminal defense lawyer who is informed, realistic, and genuinely has your back, I highly recommend Zach!

⭐️ (1 star) If you are looking for a criminal defense attorney in Olmsted County, definitely do your homework first. This attorney seems to be one of the few locally who consistently gets referrals for criminal cases, which unfortunately means there isn’t much competition — and that shows. He is very expensive, especially for those already in crisis. Before retaining him, I strongly recommend interviewing multiple attorneys, including from the Minneapolis–St. Paul area. Many are willing to travel, and there are significantly more options there with different experience levels and cost structures. Despite what some listings may imply, I would not consider him trauma-informed or well-versed in cases involving: Domestic violence survivors who are wrongfully charged Self-defense situations Coercive control dynamics If your matter involves domestic violence where the defendant is actually the victim, I would look elsewhere. He did not demonstrate the understanding or empathy crucial for these types of cases. To be fair, he seems to know the local system well, so if you are facing a serious charge and feel cornered into hiring someone with strong Rochester ties, that may be why some people end up here. I’m posting on behalf of someone else, based on their experience. I am not personally a client — but after everything we’ve seen, I wish we had explored more options first. It could have made a big difference.
