I think of M. Avery Austin III as “The Lemonade Lawyer”. When his client has been handed a basket of sour lemons, he uses his compassionate listening skills, his in-depth understanding of the criminal justice system, and his extensive experience in the courtroom to make the best lemonade possible. He works hard to help his clients move forward in their journey of life with as little damage as possible to their record. In the case I followed most closely, I was especially impressed with his ability to help his client understand why accepting a particular plea offer was in her best interest and how she could take full advantage of the terms of that agreement. Very poor communication

First and foremost I must send my thanks, gratitude and respect to Mr. Avery Austin for his service and for his passion to always help and assist his fellow Americans no matter the battle ..My son was unfortunately incarcerated in Texas after only being there for 5 days because he was trying to rekindle a past relationship. Things took a wild turn and my son was in a jail 1500 miles away from any family to assist and comfort him during that extreme life changing situation. On came Mr Avery, Mrs.Shannon and his firm that he created to continue to serve his country and the ones less fortunate who otherwise might not have a voice or defense for that matter. Obviously the 4 1/2 month process to have my son released with only a $300 fine after having a charge, mind you a felony; robbery..Mr. Avery Austin orchestrated a deal and ultimately my sons release soon thereafter and for that well forever be grateful to Austin Law PLLC...Any incarceration sucks for all those affected but I can say that if you're represented by the Austin Law firm, your family, friend , etc is in very good hands and all I can say is just be patient. Texas is very backed up statewide and nothing will happen fast as some other states. Please keep that in mind. Do that and you'll end up like my wife, son and I, very happy with the representation Austin Law provided. My son is back home now and very grateful for Mr. Avery and his firm and has been putting his best foot forward daily. Thank you again for everything. We are forever grateful and Mr. Avery, you are a true American Hero! Forever grateful!!
