Christopher Sullivan was assigned by the court to settle an estate in 2024, Docket #PL23P2587EA. As the process has progressed, the family grew more concerned with the lack of progress and/or communication from Mr. Sullivan. Many questions and concerns addressed to Mr. Sullivan were never acknowledged or addressed. While reviewing his running invoices we found a charge for a phone call with one of the six heirs which never occurred, in fact that heir has never spoken with the attorney. On December 15th, 2025, the heirs received an updated invoice from this office indicating that Mr. Sullivan was charging $375 per hour and his associate was billing $325 per hour. On 01/29/26, the heirs received a copy of the invoice that Mr. Sullivan submitted to the court for reimbursement from the estate funds. The “new” invoice shows that he adjusted his rates for work completed in 2025 to his 2026 rates increasing the cost of the work completed in 2025 by more almost 12.5%. The family will be submitting a complaint to the Massachusetts Bar Association for his mismanagement of the estate funds.
