A Second Lifesaver — A Separate Case, the Same Outstanding Help This is a follow-up review for Baker Matthews Law Collective, specifically for Alex, regarding a completely different matter than the one I reviewed a few months ago — and it deserves its own spotlight. Back in 2023, I was in a car accident that passed through multiple law firms before partially resolving. I was told I could handle the remaining part of the case on my own. I tried, but it went nowhere. Finding an attorney to take on just the remaining half portion of a case was a nightmare — no one wanted to pick it up mid-stream. Eventually, I reached out to Daniel Stark’s office. While they saw the value in my case, they couldn’t take it because they hadn’t handled the first part. Long honest review but I’ll cover everything and hope it answers some of your questions. So here’s my story and the reason for this review. I was in an accident on May 2023. And like all people I spent a ton of time searching for a Lawfirm handling these kinda things everyone I talked to asked for %40 contingency fee I finally found one for %33 a large firm and 20 lawyers and all 5 stars reviews. What could go wrong. Little I knew back then it was nearly impossible to get in touch with the attorney handling the case. 8 months in and zero progress. Out of work and bills started pilling up. I decided to move the case to another firm. They restarted the process since the first one didn’t even bother doing a single thing. The second firm did an excellent job handling the other insurance company got them to pay their maximum policy limits but I’m drowned in debt and that was not even enough to fix my damaged credit because of the accident and most of it went to pay for small loans I had to keep a roof over my head they had a hard time shacking my own insurance to cover the remaining bills and get decent offer. So they agreed that I can move the remaining portion of the claim UIM to another form of my choice After a week of contacting nearly every Lawfirm in Austin non wanted to take the case last firm I called was Daniel Stark’s firm and they looked at the case and said; We recognize that your case has some ground but since it moved to this phase we don’t want to get involved but we recommend Baker Mathews law collectives they specializes in complex cases like yours so give them a call. You’re the real deal Here’s the pro and cons Pro. -Not a single move was made on the case without consulting with me and asking for my opinion and how I feel about it. - answering the phone calls and texts every single time. - everything was being updated on the HONA app in case I went to see where we at on the case. - talks to you like they know you personally no games no bs and no hidden catches ( you know everything) - aggressive case handling and covering all corners - plenty of positives things I can think of but the bottom line. If you’re in a situation like where I was and feel like you’re being played by the insurance companies or left behind or stuck and don’t see a way out of it or not sure what to do this is the right place and the right people for the job. Here’s the big one Cons - I wish I called them the first day and didn’t have to waste all of this time. Again a billion thank you for everything.
