Unfortunately there is not an option for zero stars but that is what I would give. I was charged with firing a firearm in town limits. I was accused of shooting at a trespasser that was threatening my life when I actually shot in the opposite direction of the individual to get him to leave. I was 25 and single and needed someone to walk me through the criminal court process and be my spokesperson. Phil House was recommended to me by another attorney. I read reviews and some of his court cases and was pleased with what I read. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience. It was the worst ten months of my life. Two different lawyers stood with me for my first two court appearances because they were already at the courthouse for their cases. One of my court appearances was just to move MY court date because he had a more important case. I did not show up to one of the court hearings because I was told I did not need to only to find out I had a bench warrant against me for not showing up. I asked several times for him to speak directly with the DA and he NEVER did until MINUTES before I was called for my last court appearance. I firmly believe the outcome of my case would have been favorably different if I had hired a different attorney. Do NOT waste $4,000 like I did to receive the bare minimum.

It was a long 4.5 years but Scott Emonet never gave up fighting! He chose awesome doctors for my surgeries. I was very well taken care of!! Thank you for all your help!

Don't waist your time with Scott M. Emonet. I can't speak to his partner, but Scott M. Emonet ain't worth it. Be prepared for no follow through on things said and communication will be, shall we say, lacking. Over all, as an attorney, Scott M. Emonet leaves a lot to be desired. Same yourself some time and effort and just skip this one.

Just want to say, I dealt with plenty of lawyers in my 22 years of being a criminal but thanks to God first and foremost but secondly, mr. Phillip House was concerned about my mental well-being and my drug addiction problem and he addressed me and suggested as a law firm of experience lawyers that I should think about going to treatment And I took his suggestion. He set me up with a treatment center that’s local and I went there and now I’m coming up on 10 months of being sober, thanks to him and the law firm. I’m also a business owner and my business has never done as good as it’s done now lawyers are concerned about getting the money and that’s it and this case it wasn’t in to be honest is shocked me I would highly recommend Mr. Phillip House and his associates, they are very good at what they do 💯💪#nolongeracriminal thanks so much highly highly recommend mr phillip

Would not recommend, does not answer when called, takes his time to answer your text, did nothing for the case i hire him for, when ask him to go speak with his client he said he would but never did. Definitely will not recommend him.

Quick respond times and very professional and friendly people. Update; while I was satisfied with my initial consultation, I am appalled by the lack of professionalism received by Mr. House. My daughter was sexuallu assaulted on Southeasterns campus. Mr. House assured us that we were in good hands. I feel as though he has worked against us. He charged me $3500 for a restraining order in October of 2020. He said he would represent us in a civil suit against southeastern and against the defendant. My daughter has suffered PTSD, lost countless hours of class time and work time due to this. October 6, 2021, we had the 4th court session in Tangipahoa Parish. He handed us a paper dated August 24. 2021 that said that he would not represent us in the suit. In court, my daughter asked to speak, and he quickly shut her down. He got into a confrontational argument with me, her mom, in front of the courthouse when I questioned the dates on the paper. He said that he sent the letter, and it was returned; however, all other documents that he sent was delivered. There was evidence enough for Title IX to expell the boy from school; however, an arrest was never made. I was told we were being placed in good hands. We, definitely, were not.
