Before the 1st amendment is taken away, let me share my experience. I am (not was). The victim of Employment Neglect. In trying to get help, because of the retaliation, racism, toxic, defamation of character, pto neglect, my preexisting illness, un ethical management. After 96 months ( along with documentation, pictures. Suffering from anxiety and emotional distress. I found this firm. I was CHARGED $250 for a “ consultation.” I know CHARGED. You have to understand my distress. During intake the disclaimer was that once the intake process was done. IF, it’s sufficient you will then be appointed an attorney. Watch an alluring video. Well done it drew me in. Great PR. In comes Alex Gas’s overhyped, loud ( could have been being on speakerphone). Gives me hope and also offer’s OPTIONS. The call was barely 30 min. I followed the option to ask for an Exit severance ( 12yrs of service, 30 yrs in the field. Denied! I have another conversation with him. Concerned that I cannot last through the hostilities. What if I’m terminated? He says that works in my favor. He then reiterated my claims against the company. I continue to submit info. I alerted that I’d resigned. ( remember he said either would benefit resign or termination due to my claims. I get an email stating they will not represent. I questioned the assistant and she said she would forward to her manager. Then I get a letter saying the same thing as the email. Denied representation. I send an email with this very explanation to get a response from Mr. Crone stating I needed to sign done representation at the cost of $6,500, 35% of settlement and any additional cost. Lbvs! I’m sorry, what? First the communication is off. I’m unemployed without unemployment. I’m professionally disabled due to the community and my profession. Yet, you want what to represent me. I honestly don’t think you have the skills to fight this global corporation. Shame on you for taking advantage of me, and making a bad situation WORSE. Your advice has caused me increased anxiety not to mention no way to support myself financially or medically without insurance. I am still waiting on the email response from you that I sent last week. People wonder why there’s so much violence on the work place. Anywhere period. I hope this helps someone more than this FIRM did for me. Scroll past.

I can give Maggie 5 stars! She is the intake specialist and she is amazing at this job. I have no idea if this company will decide to take my case, but that doesn't change the level of attentiveness, care, and compassion that Maggie displayed during the intake process. When comparing this intake process to other firms, this is hands down the best.

Maggie you are amazing at what you do! But the downfall was the $250 upfront payment before knowing if I had a case or not. You mentioned the fee was non-refundable... so what was the $250 for if you weren't sure if I had a case?? This felt like a scam! There are so many scammers in the world today. Asking for money upfront without service. Saying it's non-refundable is hard to swallow. Im still wondering what the fee was for....????????? If you all respond to this comment can you please respond differently from all of your other responses that's rated 2 stars or less... We know that you are sorry and you would try to do better but can we get a different response..... It might help a lot of future clients understand the initial $250 non-refundable up front payment. Knowledge is key! Educate your potential clients about the $250 and maybe people will call back or consider paying up front....make it make sense. The $250 is just something we have to pay up front and it's not refundable If you don't have a case???? 🤔😮😵‍💫🤑 Why would anyone want to give $250 to a company without truly knowing what the $250 is for. It's like being on the casino boat gambling your money away. 🥴🤑🤔🤷🏾 As I mentioned... Maggie is very, very kind she does her job very well but ....The explanation of the $250 is transparent. And it feels like a scam. I don't believe that this company is a scam based off what I've read and reviewed. Please help! 🤔🫣🤯

Each person that calls us has a different situation that make each consultation with an attorney different. Depending on the specifications of your potential case, a consultation or legal coaching session with our attorneys can either be free or result in a fee. It is all completely based on each person's unique potential case. We charge up front so people know what to expect going in. We do not want anyone to feel blindsided by a fee after they talk to an attorney. We hope that helps, and we are sorry we weren't clear enough originally.

I don’t know about their actual legal services, but the “free consultation” is $250.

Ms. Fleming, we are sorry that you had a bad experience. We have consultations that are free most of the time. We also have legal coaching sessions that are $250. We will never charge you to talk to our intake staff who quote the fee for a coaching session. We apologize for the poor communication and will work to be better.

Crone law firm has been great with handling my case I have a hard time explaining myself because I am socially awkward my lawyer understood everything I was trying to see and took my case immediately !!!

Their website said free consultation so I filled out the information. After a few days of not hearing anything, I called. The free consultation seemed to go away and that will be $250, please. She acknowledged that the website was broken. Bait and switch?

I wasn’t even given the opportunity to speak with a knowledgeable person or a lawyer… the representative that took my case over the phone didn’t even bother to listen, she was already ahead of me the entire conversation. Find a reliable lawyer, they only worried how I found their information… don’t waste your time contacting this firm. There are many good lawyers out there and after interviewing many for my case I think I found the one. Meanwhile this lady kept harassing me and telling me what to say or not to avoid wasting the attorneys time.

I contacted The Crone Law Firm and within just a few hours I was called back and set up for a consultation for a business contract review that my business consultant had drafted. My consultation with Matthew Ghio, JD went much better than expected. He was knowledgeable and very helpful with my needs. Crone Law was great! Had a non-compete suit filed against me and was fortunate to work with Matt Ghio; he was able to help settle it quickly with a favorable resolution. He took the time to really dive into my case and understand all the facts and circumstances and his attention to detail and knowledge of the law were instrumental in drafting a working resolution. Would highly recommend Matt and Crone for any non-compete work and any employment case in general.

I received a return call from Mr. Edward Rolwes of the Law Office regarding an FMLA employment issue. He listened very attentively and provided well-deserved advice. He provided over an hour of his professional time. Although, he did not feel my case was a match for his firm. He stated there was an opportunity for a case. I couldn’t be happier with the customer service, support, and legal advice I was given by Crone Law Firm. The staff member who took my initial call was polite , friendly, and thorough. She took down my information and spoke with me in-depth as to how the process works and what to expect next. She gave me peace of mind and for that I am thankful. I was contacted by attorney E. Rolwes the very next day at our scheduled appointment and although this was our first time speaking it felt as if he had known me for quite some time and knew exactly what was going on with my employment concern . The information/notes taken from the initial call was provided to the attorney (as I was told it would), but then Mr. Rolwes took the time to read and study it prior to our call. It made a big difference to say the least. I felt I could trust in his legal expertise and once again feel confident in an otherwise difficult time. He took the time to speak with me and made sure all of my concerns were addressed. It was as if a huge weight had been lifted. Thank you E. Rolwes and staff!
