SCAMMERS! Harassing me over a budget rental care they claimed i damaged over two years ago and trying to scam me out of money to pay for said damages that budget rental car has zero knowledge of. Anytime I ask for proof or documentation, they ghost and then call again a couple months later.
What a joke. Attempting to collect 11k + from me when I was hit by a teenager. Teenager had insurance and her company handled the claim. 21 months later they send me a demand letter. Demand letter states that "None of B&S's attorneys have reviewed the claim"
Please do not contact me, I was hit by a drunk driver, which totaled a rental car that I had, they went after him and are coming at me for whatever they couldn’t get, definitely reporting the bbb, this is not right!
I have been waiting weeks to hear back from someone regarding a bogus claim asking me to pay 25k for a company that they represent that broke the law and company policy and could’ve killed me. None of the email links on the one letter I got seems to work. I don’t even know if they’re a real firm but their client will pay far far more in fines if they don’t leave me alone
Great place.
Thanks Dean!
This is the best firm I have ever dealt with hands down! The level of professionalism and timely responsiveness is what's missing with other firms, but they keep their clients as a true priority. Highly recommend.
This firm is highly recommended. Kim was compassionate about my situation and took every call channeled to her. I recommend anyone i know needing professional counsel.
Hi Theresa, I do not see that you are a client of our firm. Kim
Horrible company. I doubt that they have a physical brick and mortar location. Additionally, Thomas Scott has a suspended license in Tennessee. The Partners physically are located in Texas but do business in Maine. There also is a Basham and Scott in Texas.
Hi Jimmy, I note you are not a client of our law firm. We absolutely have a brick and mortar location and are a firm that cares very much about our clients, employees and integrity. Kim Scott, Managing Member
We received a letter, from this office. Stating that we owe 25k because they were not going to "Honor" the Loss Damaged Wavier agreement. So unprofessional stating that the vehicle was under our possession and we let someone steal it, therefore it our fault. We did not know that the car was stolen until the police authority contacted us.
Hi Maria, We pursue damages to our client’s rental vehicles based on information provided by our client and based on contracts between our client and it’s customers. We are always interested in speaking with you if there is additional information we or our client should know. We do our absolute best to handle our cases with professionalism and in accordance with the law. We would be happy to speak with you further in regard to the disputed information, if any, between you and our client. Please call our office at 207-208-8807 and ask to speak to the handling attorney in our office. Kindest Regards, Kim Scott
Haven't dealt with these folks from a legal client perspective, but can certainly tell you of my experience with Tom and Kim as a customer in their other businesses. They peddle in flimsy disclaimers and cheap excuses.
This was a customer of our car wash who drove through our wash with a roof rack on his car. We have signs up indicating this is not allowed and could cause damage to both the customers vehicle and our wash, he would like for us to pay for damage to his roof rack after it was pulled off by our wash. As roof racks are clearly prohibited by signage we are unable to do so as our insurance would not cover such a prohibited incident. We would certainly cover any valid damage to a customers car when properly using our car wash.,
