If you’re considering hiring Rick Baughman, I urge you to read this first. When I needed representation the most—wrongfully accused and facing serious consequences—Rick Baughman didn’t fight for me. He took the easy way out, doing just enough to meet the bare minimum of his responsibilities. At the time, I didn’t have the financial resources I do now. I was young, inexperienced, and looking for real legal guidance. Instead, I received overpriced, underwhelming representation. The facts of my case were clear. So clear, in fact, that the prosecutor dismissed the charges entirely on their own motion. They didn’t have a case. Yet, despite previously suggesting I had grounds for civil action, Rick had no intention of pursuing it once the case ended. He lost all interest the moment his check cleared. In my opinion, this was a textbook example of what happens when an attorney sees a vulnerable client as a quick payday. To make things worse, when I voiced my opinion publicly, Rick attempted to reframe my words as slander—then quietly edited and softened his original reply after realizing the legal stretch of his own accusation. I have the screenshot. This is not slander. This is a personal opinion based on direct experience with a paid service. I am exercising my right to free speech to warn others. If you’re looking for legal counsel that will fight for you, really fight for you, keep looking. There are attorneys out there who treat their clients like people, not paychecks. I wish I had found one of them.

Best attorney ever, he knows the state laws and how to maneuver in the county court system. Usually you have to keep on an attorney to ensure your best interests are being met but Rick did not need any oversight. Thnx
