Bayer & Black P.C. is a firm comprised of exceptional attorneys and office staff, all of whom we’ve had the pleasure of working with. We’ve often approached them completely in the blind, unsure of how to navigate the (usually complex) situation at hand. To date, we’ve used their services to navigate settling three estates, the sale of a home, and a complex and very serious criminal case. Their patience with us cannot be understated. Their entire office is comprised of exceptional individuals all of whom are accessible, compassionate, and responsive. VERY POOR JOB: HE charged me DOUBLE what he charges other clients and he took big short cuts in managing the sale of our house: he never provided a settlement letter, the mortgage payoff letter, he did not collect property details and did not put in the necessary exclusion into the bill of sale until I EMAIL HIM 3 TIMES!!

I’ve never written a review in my life so I’ll start by saying that if you are looking for a lawyer Kevin is definitely the one to hire. From his courtroom presence to his grasp and understanding of my case, he’s not only the best lawyer I’ve had he’s the best lawyer I’ve ever seen in real life. Smart, concise and buttoned-up all describe Kevin’s legal style. I talked to Kevin on a Friday, met with him the following Monday for a court date the very next day. By Tuesday morning he had a thorough understanding of my case. All while keeping me calm during an incredibly stressful time. Usually with someone as talented as Kevin you’d say that after he was made they broke the mold. However; in this case his son (Kevin Jr.), who also helped extensively with my case, is a smart and accomplished lawyer in his own right. This isn’t even about whether or not he won (he did, of course) but rather the fact that he understood my case inside and out and argued it forcefully yet professionally. In short, if you are looking for a lawyer that will really pay attention to your case and not just “go through the motions”, Kevin Black is the one. If you need a lawyer and don’t hire him you’re making a mistake.
