I was referred to the Bayliss Law firm and I'm very glad I was. I had a very peculiar case that defied logic, sense and most importantly was devoid of facts. Despite all of these details, a legal proceeding was initiated and I wasn't terribly sure how to address it. On very short notice, Mr. Bayliss reviewed the information that I had given him and when the court date arrived, he was able to do precisely what I had hired him to do. All in short order might I add. The legal landscape is complex and more often than not, overwhelming. Mr. Bayliss and his staff was professional, courteous and most importantly, competent. Consider this firm for your family courts needs. Outstanding!

Shawn is an extremely knowledgeable and professional attorney. Shawn had my case for 3+ years, and it was a very unusual case. He was always prepared, well-researched, motivated, and methodical. Shawn truly cares for his clients, and he makes you feel that you are a true priority to him in his work. I always felt at ease knowing I had an attorney who was not only extremely experienced, but also very intelligent. My case was tough, but he always showed up ready to fight. This titan of a man is my personal hero for the way he turned my case around. The courts are not a kind place always, and this time when I had to go I found myself staring down the proverbial barrel of a gun in regards to my childs custody. Three hearings in, and I didn't think I needed a lawyer until in the adjudicatory hearing. Then things took a definitive turn southwards. To be honest my outlook on my prospects seemed extraordinarily bleak, and for a time there I really thought I had no hope. Enter Mr. bayliss. I called this man a week before my hearing began, tried to the best of my ability to explain the situation to him. And he said no problem we are going to get through this together. Since then he has treated me as a friend would and been straightforward and kind. He didn't question my story or cast blame my way (as many did). He simply took me at my word and told me what I needed to do to fix my situation. Though I know we probably have a long while before things are fixed entirely, his help at this juncture, when things seemed dark and insurmountable, proved INVALUABLE. Today he strode in to that court room, and in the course of 30 minutes, he changed my fate from losing my child forever to giving me a chance to move forward. Professional and strong commitment to be fair. Old staff was great. Sorry. But since new staff, not good at communicating. But this is really improving. With COVID, had changes in staff. He personally is GREAT.

Mr Bayliss has been known to lie and misrepresent the facts. He knowingly lied about my son's grades and made inappropriate and misleading comments about what was good for the kids. One of those children then tried to commit suicide being in the situation that he reccommended.

Inexpensive but great representation
