I live outside Arizona, but needed local representation to resolve a post-decree child support dispute in Tucson in August 2018. I found BLG through Hyatt Legal Services and retained Lisa Benavidez and her team to represent me. After considering the facts provided, she recommended that we try to settle, but our offer was not accepted and she appeared with me at the ensuing hearing. The matter was taken under advisement and both parties were ordered to submit briefs. Having spent about half my career working in three states as a legal assistant (CLA) for multiple law offices ranging in size from sole proprietorships to huge, multinational firms, I believe I have a pretty good handle on what constitutes superior representation of a client. For me, the BLG team went far beyond the baseline of meeting deadlines, keeping me informed and responding to questions in a timely and courteous manner (especially for a *remote* client!). At the hearing, Lisa skillfully presented the facts of the case by going through the results of her own investigation and thoroughly questioning both of us. Later, in the well-written brief she filed on my behalf, she again methodically set forth the relevant facts and clearly explained how the law applied to our advantage. I knew my case presented some challenges. Nevertheless, the work Lisa and Dawn Nickel did on my behalf was first rate. The matter is resolved and I anticipate never needing a divorce lawyer in Tucson again, and that is thanks in no small part to the *excellent* work done by this team.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ATTORNEY. Handled my divorce, no kids easy property settlement that was final in January but inconsistent billing and final payment receipt still unresolved as of today. Made me feel like her fees were more important than my case. Made payment in full June 4th and I have been asking for a paid in full receipt since June 4th and not getting one.

Lisa was very rude to me and not willing to help me out whatsoever. I am currently seeking legal help to get my small boys. Lisa was very irrational to me basically giving her two sense and that was it. Made me feel very affended and angry. Horrible i wasted my money to get chewed up and spit back out. No empathy at all!

Elisabeth was recommended to me, not from the person who hired her (i did not know that person), but from the person they went up against in court. Thats how good she was. Unfortuannly i have had a few lawyers over the years, with child/parenting issues. I would never recommend or go back to any of them, until Elisabeth.
