Mr Simms is a good attorney with a very good pedigree but that comes with a high price tag. Although Mr. Simms was able to successfully get the false criminal charges made against me dismissed I would have, had I known from the beginning, retained the legal counsel of Mr. Simms legal partner, Mr David Lambertus instead. He is just as, if not more competent and most likely comes with better client/attorney relationships and faster results.
Keith, as I told you, I could not help you because I was hospitalized with a stroke. In fact I had two strokes. I was not able to work for three months. I kept referring you to call my partner to address your needs. My partner was able to help you and you received your property. We cannot do better than a dismissal with an expungement. I could not assist you with the return of your property because I was not at work, not allowed to work, I was recovering from a life threatening condition-a stroke. I find your comments disappointing given that fact. I regret you wrote this given the outcome of your case resulting in a dismissal and the time I spent on your case, the thousands of pages you sent me to read. Again, I am human, I had a stroke and was hospitalized and did not return to work for three months, then covid closed the courts. You were informed of this by phone and in writing. Your post was unkind, inaccurate, and wrong. I have represented thousands of Kentuckians successfully. I was chosen by my peers as Kentucky's top prosecutor, I was chosen as the Police Prosecutor of the Year. I have I was author of Kentucky's expungement law a law that you and thousands of Kentuckians benefit from directly or indirectly. Had I not had a stroke, had I not been hospitalized, I would have been able to help you with the immediate return of the property that was seized. But as I told you by phone and by email, I was recovering from a subarachnoid stroke that could have killed me. In fact, 40% of those who have such a stroke die before they reached the hospital. I am lucky due to the care I received and the area of the brain where the stroke occurred. I have no permanent effects from the stroke, but I do have one poor review. And I am ok with it. I wish you well in the future.
Best lawyer in the city by far!
I am not sure about that, but I do care about my clients. I do want to help every Kentuckian expunge their record.
If u need an Attorney you have the right one, Mr. Benham is the person you can trust and let him handle your case for you, very professional and if he tells you he will represent your case, you have the right person that you want to be your representative. Thank you for the help Mr. Benham.
I care about my clients and their futures. I know that what happens to them impacts their family, their career, and how they are perceived by others. I

Thank you Sam
Benham Sims is an established, well-respected attorney in Louisville. Mr. Sims played a significant role in the getting the expungement bill passed in the Kentucky legislature.
Thank you Sherman
He's a very nice man, and very intelligent. He knows what he's doing. It was worth every penny to have my police record expunged. Thank you Mr. Sims.
