I contacted this firm seeking representation for a serious civil rights matter pertaining to psychiatric malpractice and presented specific statutes and legal safeguards relevant to the case. Rather than addressing the law, the attorney focused on hearsay and what she perceived a jury might feel, rather than the objective legal facts I provided. It was demoralizing to try to discuss the law while my concerns were consistently dismissed and invalidated to subjective critique.

28 years ago I contacted Clyde Bergstresser for a medical malpractice matter for my son. They thoroughly combed through his records and discovered that tge cause was an immunization. They passed it along to a law firm that specialized in this matter and my son was compensated in the end. I am eternally grateful for the dedication to my case.

No call back. I do not lie. I called twice. I stated the facts. Maybe your phone was broken? I do not know.

The team at Bergstresser & Pollock, PC handled my settlement case with clarity and sensitivity. Julia and Russell responded in a timely manner, explained all steps so I never felt lost, and made the whole experience as stress-free as possible. As a client, I felt well taken care of and listened to, which is so important considering how intimidating this experience could've been. Overall, I thank this team wholeheartedly for their determination and care.

I had a permanent injury on my facial nerve as a result of negligence on the part of a well known surgeon. After looking at lot of law firms I zeroed in on Clyde to represent me. Clyde was a keen listener and was clearly knowing the job. I chose Clyde because he has dealt with facial nerve cases a lot. He guided me through the process and we recovered what I think is a pretty solid payment. I recommend Clyde whole heartedly and wish him the best.

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Mr Pollock, to whom I was referred by a thoughtful “Super Lawyer” I’d found online. Most other attorneys never replied to my contacts re: numbness after an office procedure. Mr Pollock did-- offering input promptly and efficiently, even graciously taking time by phone to give me a better understanding of the complexities and challenges posed by such an issue, its doubtful prospects for success-- and possible (likely...) risks even then. Regardless, he provided me sufficient support and careful consideration to see the process through-- to a very amicable conclusion for all. I honestly could have no greater respect for Mr Pollock’s work than I've gained, or be more appreciative of his assistance.

The Bergstresser and Pollock team are an amazing group of individuals. They handled my case with care, compassion, dedication and most importantly, expertise. They are thorough and thoughtful and bring decades of experience to each case and to the courtroom. Clyde, Russ, and the entire team are top-notch professionals in their field, and I feel fortunate to have been represented by them.

Clyde and Scott are the best medical and legal malpractice attorneys in New England, if not the entire Northeastern United States. I met with every major (malpractice) firm and lawyer in the area and no one compares. Not only do they have decades of experience (and therefore know all the judges and experts) but they immediately zero'd in on the critical path (and legal and evidentiary issues) to victory. They helped me initiate and win multiple high stakes "bet-the-company" type cases against some of Boston's oldest and largest institutions. To paraphrase Buffet, you want your lawyers to have "integrity, intelligence and energy". Bergstresser & Pollock have all 3 but they also have courage. They regularly take on the country's largest law firms and the largest medical insurance companies (with unlimited legal resources) on behalf of the little guy. They even took a stand against the Saudi royal family's extrajudicial actions at great personal risk. Look it up, incredible story of guts and justice. Don't just take my word for it, look at their multi-decade trajectory of success.

I was referred to Mr. Bergstresser and his firm Bergstresser and Pollack in August, 2013, following the death of my husband, Kevin. I had first sent an email to set up an appointment for a consultation and their response was immediate. As a grieving widow with 3 young children, I was extremely nervous and did not know what to expect as I had never been involved in a legal case. I felt extremely welcomed as I entered the firms office. My first meeting was with Clyde Bergstresser and Karen Reilly, the firms nurse paralegal. Within minutes, I could see the attention they had for my family’s concern in regards to our situation. I only had the experience I endured, Clyde accepted the role as my lawyer. He and his team showed extreme dedication and professionalism while showing sensitivity, making me feel extremely comfortable. Clyde and his team educated me on the entire process and kept me informed throughout the duration of the case. I had the entire team behind me, being my family’s voice, obtaining justice for my husband every step of the way. I did not feel like a lawyer’s client, I felt as if I was a family member they were caring for. My deposition was something I did not think I could get through, but because my team was so wonderful, I had the strength to survive. I am so glad I was referred to this firm, lucky I should say. Mr. Bergstresser, Mr. Pollack, Mr. Zabbo, and Mrs. Reilly, along with the entire team, all have an extreme wealth of knowledge amongst them. Their determination, attention, hard work, expertise in the medical field, and dedication is why I would refer anyone and everyone that may need legal advice for medical reasons. Thank you very much for helping me and my children obtain justice and be the voice of my husband, their father, Kevin.

A huge thank you to attorney Scott Heidorn and his team at Bergstresser & Pollock, PC! The medical malpractice case for my husband was settled this past spring thanks to the hard work, dedication and persistence of Scott. From the very first meeting in our home to accommodate my husband’s paralysis we knew we were in good hands and with the best lawyer to handle our case. Scott’s knowledge and experience are impressive. Throughout the five year process Scott’s communication and transparency of the process was beyond excellent. He was always honest, upfront and willing to take the time to educate us about each step of the way. Scott was always available by phone and email with an immediate response. He checked in with us frequently to see how my husband and I were doing showing his compassion and true care for his clients. My husband and I totally trust Scott and he made a difficult situation bearable with positive results to insure my husband’s medical care for the future. I would highly recommend Scott and his law firm if you unfortunately need an attorney for a medical malpractice case. Thank you again Scott we are forever grateful.

I was fortunate to find Russell Pollock through a recommendation. He was attentive to my case and offered infinite legal insight, wisdom and was genuine. His professionalism was outstanding and his communications with me throughout the legal process were exceptional. The best endorsement I can give is I would hire him again if I needed, and will recommend his legal expertise to others.

I met with Mr. Bergstresser in July of 2018 after I had read articles that he was representing two clients against Dr. Keith Ablow for medical malpractice. I met with him because I too am a victim of Dr. Keith Ablows medical malpractice. After about five months he wrote me and stated in an email "Dr. Jacobs is prepared to support your claim, so yes we are prepared to pursue a claim on your behalf.. As you know we are working on many of these at the same time and yes the litigation process is not fast and this is not our only case." I recieved a retainer agreement and sent it back in duplicate. Today, two months after his " expert" stated that he would support my claim, I recieved an email that stated this from Mr. Bergstresser, " Initially Dr. Jacobs was supportive of a claim, but as he did more research he was unable to support the opinion that the medication practices by Dr. Ablow represented a departure from the prevailing standard of care. The whole use of ketamine is an evolving practice. He also would not support that the Ketamine was contraindicated in light of your head injury or that we could prove damages results from the use of the Ketamine." Keep in mind that my claim was for medication mismanagement more specifically "The claim, controversy, and other matters with reference to which the services are to be performed are: all claims against Keith Ablow, MD arising out of psychiatric malpractice including medication mismanagement, boundary violations and injuries sustained by Emily Pierce in the course of the “care and treatment” provided to her by Keith Ablow, MD, and, in connection with the aforesaid services, said Attorneys shall have the authority to handle and prosecute said claims in such manner as said Attorneys shall deem, in their judgment, to be in the best interests of the Client." This taken from the retainer agreement. My husband and I are beyond upset with this unethical behavior which is my opinion and because of my direct experience with you, is unbecoming of an attorney. We are left wondering what could possibly have changed in two months that your doctor changed their mind. Did they no longer see that Keith Ablow violated boundaries or his treatment resulted in an injury ? The medications I was on, were contraindicated for someone with a traumatic brain injury. Did he no longer feel that was true ? If your expert changes his mind this easily, then is he even credible in court ? Of course, this is my opinion and should not be mistaken for anything else. My husband and I were looking forward to closure in this matter and instead received what I feel is a callus email, not even a phone call. I undoubtedly NEVER recommend this attorney to anyone.
