I had a bad experience with the intake person. And also a very bad experience with the firm as a client. Do not recommend.

Great advice for a professional situation!

The intake person at this firm is rude, dismissive, disrespectful and has NO compassion or empathy. I am disgusted by how they treat potential clients. One star is too much but it is required to post. I want to warn other people to stay away from this firm.

Bernabei & Kabat did a wonderful job for me and made my life a lot less hectic, calming me down after my initial woes, then giving me a few solid bases to work with for what was going wrong. If you need an attorney that knows what they're doing and the right way to go about handling employment issues, while teaching you a lot about typical scenarios you might run into with your specific problems, B&K is definitely the right firm for you.

Intake Secretary sarcastically rude and unprofessional at this Firm

As a fellow attorney (I didn’t let them know this), their intake feels like dealing with a used car salesman. I approached them with an workplace discrimination situation involving my daughter. After several hits/misses with their office, and being told three times by the intake person that she had to eat her lunch, the times I did finally talk to her I found her quite dismissive, curt and seemingly agitated with the discussion. She did rudely call back with “a courtesy call” to say they would not be able to assist. Even that call was rough—certainly NOT courteous.

Bernabei & Kabot is a first-rate law firm. Very professional, creative in their approach and they are a pleasure to work with. Partners are hands-on, very engaged and approachable on an on-going basis. They did a fabulous job managing and settling my discrimination case. Their fees are very reasonable are they are conservative with billing their time. It was a pleasure working with them from start to finish. I highly recommend this law firm!
