I would give them more stars if I could. The entire team at Bernhardt Disability Law was absolutely amazing. I knew that this was going to be journey I did not want to navigate on my own so I went to them from the beginning of my application for SSDI. Take it from someone who has been fighting for disability for years- call Jacob Bernhardt. Jacob Bernhardt and his staff know what they are doing and show that they care about their clients. They took on my case which was not an easy one. I had been fighting on my own since 2020. After appeals and restarting my application I decided to look for a reputable attorney and after reading reviews I knew Jacob was the right choice. I will say the whole process takes time and my ALJ hearing was not until October but through the help of Mr Bernhardt my case was proven and found fully favorable by the judge. I was immediately relieved after fighting for so long and knowing I wouldn’t have to wait another 9 months for the next review. Finally I felt heard, seen, and validated thanks to the time and effort from Jacob and his team; I am so very thankful!

Everyone in the office is warm, polite, and understanding. Mr. Bernhardt himself is a very kind, compassionate, and empathetic man who worked on my case for four years. We went through two hearings, the first time I was denied, but just today I was informed this time we were successful. He championed my case and believed in me and believed I deserved to qualify for disability even when I was doubtful and felt like giving up. He'll always keep you up to date and make sure you understand everything about the process as well as what is required on your end, i.e. medical documentation and the like. The new ruling (in my favor) changes my life, I can never express just how grateful I am for what he's done for me, words don't cut it. He's a good, decent, honest person with a good heart.
