LegalShield’s local representative Bervar & Jones: (Please note my use of capitalization)… “DO NOT EVER HAVE BERNIECE HANDLE ANY OF MY INQUIRIES! SHE IS HORRIBLE TO SPEAK TO AND HAS NO BEDSIDE MANNERS WHATSOEVER, (IF THIS WAS A MEDICAL SITUATION), THANK GOD SHE’S NOT IN THAT FIELD! IF I NEEDED LEGAL REPRESENTATION SHE’S ONE OF THE LAST PEOPLE I WOULD HAVE REPRESENTING ME! NOT FRIENDLY, NOT COURTEOUS, NO LEGAL KNOWLEDGE THAT’S HELPFUL, SHOULD NOT BE IN THE FIELD OF REPRESENTING PEOPLE, NOT EMPATHETIC, NOT PROFESSIONAL! SHE SAID I HAD AHDH?!! WHO SAYS THAT TO A PAYING CONSUMER FOR YOUR SERVICES??! BECAUSE OF HER, I’LL PROBABLY CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP!”

2 stars only because I’ve had a couple of my past questions answered…sort of. Horrible legal advice because they basically tell you things that you could just Google yourself…this last legal inquiry/advice went horribly wrong…not friendly, not empathetic, not helpful, not professional! Go somewhere else for legal help if you need advice, client empathy or professionalism…you want and need legal assistance from a firm who is on your side and treats you more than a paying client…you know, a company that cares whom they represent…a firm who “strives to get all the clients who walk through their doors the results they rightfully deserve,” (directly from their website), which is what’s clearly lacking here.

Legal Sheild provider Bervar and Jones in Honolulu Hi., has consistently delivered terrible service in the last 18 months. I’ve been a member since 2016 it’s true they previously offered some value considering the price. However, it appears they have either purchased reviews from Yelp or used abandoned profiles as many 5 stars reviews have appears in the last year. This is a well documented way to improve online marketing reviews. The 1, 2 and 3 stars reviews are all 2 to 6 years old. So buyer beware. My last experience with a lawyer from Legal Shield last week resulted in the lawyer hanging up on me. Previously two questions asked in the last five months were answered at a very poor standard of less than 10% of what was requested. I must give 2 stars so that Yelp doesn’t reject my review, otherwise 1star would be generous.

If I could zero stars I would. They are bar none the worst attorneys in the state if not the entire world. I started an intake for an insurance claim in September of 2024. It’s a very time sensitive matter yet 6 months later absolutely nothing has been done by Bervar and Jones. They write letters on my behalf that never got sent out. They are very bad at returning calls and often forget to do so. I regret that I put my faith in a law office that did absolutely nothing to help. They seem to be very unorganized and should not be practicing law if they don’t even know know how to treat people with kindness and respect. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Attorney Bernice Krause is consistently wonderful over years and eases a challenging, unexpected situation. This five-star review is years overdue, but I am glad to put it up nonetheless. Harrison and Cherie are also compassionate and caring too, which helps tremendously when you call in. Thank you and deservingly the best to all of you.

They chose. the right person to do the intake. Very kind, very courteous, very attentive, understood everything and relayed all information correctly. I couldn't be more please... he was and is very smart, very knowledgeable, very kind, very considerate. Very understanding of me my situation incidents and circumstances... He didn't put me down. He didn't disregard my incidence, my situations, my feelings. He understood so much in my writing and of the giving of information to him. It. was like I had spoken all of this to him in detail, and he read everything he paid so much close attention to detail. And he knew exactly what to do How to do it and everything! He was so very kind and understand. even though it was a lot of information that was given he received it all with no complaint, no nothing and really reviewed. the things surrounding my case.. i was very much amazed and pleased... and very grateful! very clear...precise... does what he says hes gonna do without delay.. love this! I was and I am...very, very, very, very happy, very pleased that Brevar & Jones are my attorneys and very grateful. Thank you Mr Inciong!

This law office was provided to me when I subscribed to something called legal shield or you pay $25 a month and you get a lawyer assigned to you. Don't expect any personalized service and because of covid it's all done online right now now that works for some people but it didn't work for me. They may have good services but I was not able to access them through my legal shield subscription. After subscribing to legal legal shield I noticed that their ratings are low overall. I guess you do get what you pay for! Lol

Birney Bervar stands amongst the greatest esquires. Bervar and Jones are a top tier firm.

I have LegalShield and this law firm is the provider for my plan. They are very professional and responsive whenever I have a question. They have helped me on numerous issues, and I will definitely look forward to have them as my LegalShield law firm for years to come!
