My experience with Whitney Matney was extremely disappointing. She was consistently unprepared, often sending last-minute questions due to her busy schedule. In mediation, she acted as if I hadn’t provided any input and left me to defend myself against an aggressive mediator. She also became emotionally unprofessional—yelling, cursing, and making the situation personal. Within weeks, my ex was in contempt of our agreement, and Whitney quickly withdrew from the case while still billing me. She is not good counsel for a high-conflict case. I regret hiring her and cannot recommend her to anyone seeking competent legal representation.

To begin, I would like to thank Whitney for everything she has done for me and my family. My custody case has been a roller coaster, and Whitney has made everything 1000X easier on me and my family. I had a different attorney for my original custody/divorce case. My original attorney was terrible and caused me to lose hope in my case. After eventually settling, I paid him and RAN. A few months later, I had several issues start popping up that caused my case to re-open. A friend of mine referred me to Whitney and I can’t thank him enough for it.
