Hello, my mom and I met Attorney Jermaine D Hammonds about March 2024 we were in a car accident and my mom was injured. My mom is 85 years old. Someone gave us the name of this attorney said he was really really good. We talked to him. We went to see him. We gave him information. We checked him out things were going pretty good In the beginning, I was contacting the individual that takes the calls for attorney Jermaine Hammond. He did answer some calls, then I called and left a message and no one got back with me for three weeks . I called again and asked why I had not been contacted about the case, the one who answers calls said that he thought that the attorney had returned my call. The attorney Jermaine Hammond got on the phone and apologizes he stated this is not their usual practice to leave people waiting nearly 3 weeks for a returned call . As we continue talking, he begins to get very rude and disrespectful yelling at the top of his voice because I reminded him of what we had talked about prior. He seemed not know he was repeating something to me that he had already told me before. I asked him could he please give me an update why things have not been moving forward , he said that I do not question him, he sounded very upset because I didn’t have a little wimpy voice. I was about business . I wanted this case to move forward as soon as possible. Even though I was addressing him as sir, he insisted that I was being rude, stating that he didn’t need to talk to me, he needed to talk to my mother. I informed him again as in the past that my mother is 85 years old and he knows that she has given me permission to speak on her stead, he never opposed it before. He then threatened to drop the case and no longer represent my mom. I told him to do whatever he would like to because he was not the only attorney. My mom came into the room and she could not believe the way that he was speaking to me. She said it was very rude and unprofessional, which it was. Professionalism, a good relationship, having a listening ear and not talking over your clients is key. If you can’t do that you shouldn’t be an attorney. I am glad for those he treated with dignity and respect, but for me, he was rude. disrespectful and down right argumentative. To threaten to drop the case is even more puzzling.

I wish i could give 0 stars. Very unprofessional and lacks communication . I reached out to this law firm earlier this year. It’s been 4 months and I haven’t been contacted regarding the case at all. Any time we talked it was me contacting them. They say they’ll call you back but they don’t. I recommend trying elsewhere because you won’t get any answers or results working with these guys. They talk a good game !

Mr. Hammond is the best. He advocated for me when I thought my case was a lost cause. He was extremely responsive and would always check up on me and let me know often the status of my case. He was very clear about my position and what his course of action was. Even when my case got caught up in the middle of COVID and the courts shut down, Mr Hammond saw me through it all until it was resolved in my favor. He fought for me even when I thought the odds were against me and my case. He is an absolute blessing and I highly recommend him.

Mr.Jermaine sold me dreams. When I first got in contact with his office and told him my situation, he made it seem like he would have everything handled and I wouldn't have to worry about nothing. My first time in the office, I spoke with his assistant about my situation and she also made it seem like everything would be handled. After 2 weeks of not hearing from them, I decided to reach out and that's when everything went downhill and I later realized that listening to them was the worse thing I could have ever done. While on the phone with Mr.Jermaine, he became disrespectful and belligerent and claimed that I was in the wrong about the accident. Instead of being professional, he began to lecture me on all the things I should have done. Everything he said on the phone was different from when I first told him about my case. When I repeated to him about what him and his assistant said about my case in the beginning and it being handled/etc., he said that I was lying on him and his assistant and beings though I didn't record the conversation, I don't have any proof. Not once was I disrespectful towards him but he decided to call me all types of names and then dropped my case. I advise others not to waste their time like I did, he is not worth it at all.

I got into an accident a little over a year ago. I was looking for a good attorney so I went to Google. Mr. Hammonds had a five star rating. So of course that’s who I went with. I had no prior knowledge of the process but Mr. Hammonds explained everything, in detail, and things went exactly the way he said they would. I don’t normally do these reviews but I do live by them. I thought the work Mr. Hammonds did on my case was well worth me writing this review. He’s a five star indeed!!
