I wish I could put 0 stars. I retained Big Time Law for a negligence injury and had a very disappointing experience. Nicki Daniels was my main point of contact. Communication was extremely limited and reactive. The firm only answered questions I specifically asked and provided little guidance or explanation of the process. I met with one of their investigators at the location of my incident, which felt unproductive. The investigator appeared unprepared, did not know how to properly record video on his phone, and later called me over the phone to take another statement instead. This raised concerns about how my case was being documented. I felt pressured to see orthopedics, obtain an MRI, and begin physical therapy before my case was fully investigated. It seemed there was more urgency around medical treatment than clarifying the status of my claim, which made me feel uncomfortable and unsupported. I was directed to receive medical treatment through providers in the firm’s network instead of using doctors covered by my own insurance while being told my case was still under investigation. After receiving a disengagement letter, I was left to figure out the medical bills on my own—bills that could have been handled through my insurance if I had been properly advised. I received the disengagement letter without prior discussion or transparency and was not provided a referral to another attorney, only told to search an attorney organization website. Overall, I felt uninformed and unsupported throughout the process. I would not recommend this firm to anyone who needs clear communication and guidance.
