Bigi & Walsh

Unprofessional and Incompetent! I know this is long but it may help you avoid additional heartache. Myself and my family met with Mr. Bigi regarding my father’s case. During the meeting we throughly explained my fathers case. Mr. Bigi seemed to agree with our side. He had copies of the records made and told us he would have his doctors look at them. Over the next few days he kept in touch with me. He told me the one doctor review it and another one will too. All of a sudden I received a letter from Mr. Bigi. It was a complete disaster to say the least. He completely misunderstood everything. The letter referenced a completely different date in my father’s case then what we were discussing with him in person. There were two key dates. The night in question and the day he passed which was not in question, which is what the letter was referring to. He even referred to a hospital my father never even went to. Not sure where that hospital even came from. Yet never even mentioned the hospital night we were talking about the entire time. Then to top it all off our main concern of a certain symptom my father had was listed in the letter. It was randomly thrown in there. The doctor contributed the symptom to his death. Which is what we were were tying to say all along. Basically his doctor actually agreed with us. Mr. Bigi on the other hand gave him the wrong information / date leading up to his symptoms. He gave him the information form the date of his passing. Not the night in question. I tried to call the office with my family on the call. The secretary told us he is out and will call us back. We explained how we received this letter and everything was incorrect except for the doctor agreeing with us. She played stupid or perhaps she wasn’t playing. We waited a few days never received a call back. We called back. Same thing he’s out, however we were put on hold. When the secretary returned we were told to reference the letter. Which pretty much shows he was there. We tried to explain again, the letter / date/ hospital everything is wrong except for the doctor agreeing with us. We were yet again told we would receive a call back, never did. Instead of getting a call back I received another letter. This time the letter stated that I was “less the kind when talking with the secretary.” I knew if I was anything “less then kind” the secretary would never pass me along. Even if I was “less then kind” I had every right to be. They are supposed to be professional and they screwed everything up and didn’t want to listen to their faults. In continuation of the 2nd letter it further stated “there is nothing that this office, nor the doctors misunderstood about the records in this case.” I can’t even believe this is supposed to be a professional law firm that is writing on paper they did not get any of the information wrong! They didn’t even get the hospital correct, the night in question correct and never referenced the actual hospital we had the problem with. Bottom line you need a law firm that is willing to actually take their time, listen to you, completely and competently understand your case. If you are looking up these types of law firms you have already endured enough. You shouldn’t have to fight with your lawyer in order for them to understand the case in order to get it right. Not to mention do you really want a law firm/ lawyer representing you that hides behind a secretary or letters? Who doesn’t even have the decency to call you back to actually see what the problem is. There are many many other lawyers out there. Please skip the potential additional heartache and call one of them. What you went through is already enough.
