Great communication and easy to work with. The process takes a few months, but I didn’t have to do much on my end. Highly recommend their services.
I was hit head-on by a car in September of 2025; the driver was at fault for failure to yield. I was airlifted to the hospital and spent five days. While I was in there, a teammate reached out to me, saying that one of the girls on our team had stated she was with Bike Legal and could help if we didn't have representation. So I did! They made the process so easy and stress-free that I could focus on recovering. Communication was as easy as a text message. I was set up with a lawyer who was familiar with cycling crashes and personal injury. From there, I texted my doctor appointments, keeping them updated, and they kept me updated about my case as well. Mila, Michelle, and Sydney were great about keeping me informed! We were pleased with the thorough work everyone did. I also love that my property damage check was kept separate, so I could buy another bike, gloves, shoes, helmet, etc. We were happy with our settlement as well; it'll help since I lost my job during this ordeal. I'm so sorry for anyone who has to go through this, but if you do, contact Bike Legal for help! They make the process much less daunting, and they know what they're doing! We got some Bike Legal jerseys (yes, they have kits), and we plan to represent on the road! I just wish I could meet everyone who helped and give them a big hug!

Back when I was more involved in the cycling scene I would see Bike Legal logos all over at cycling events and as sponsors. My experience with Bike Legal was great! When I first called I really didn't think I had a case. After talking to the lawyers I felt very comfortable moving forward with their assistance. I was in a serious accident 6/16/2023 while riding my bicycle west on Warner Ave in the city of Huntington Beach, CA. I had a 6 hour surgery the same day. My second day in the ICU an insurance adjuster called me. I was heavily medicated with pain medication. I suggested they should wait for me to get out of the hospital. I was in the ICU for 5 days. My injuries were collapsed left lung, 9 broken ribs (8 on the left with 11 breaks and one on the right(one rib was shattered)), flail chest, fractured occipital vertebrae, left shoulder AC Joint Separation, concussion, facial cut over left eye and numerous scraps (road rash). Titanium plates were installed on 3 of my ribs. I have constant ringing in my ears. Bike Legal made a presentation at one of our Bike Club (OC Velo) Meetings. When I returned home from the hospital, with the assistance of my wife we called Bike Legal. Bike Legal took my case. Bike Legal made my life easy. I did not get any calls regarding my bills or insurance. Bike Legal handled everything. My bike was totaled. Sherri came by my house and took my bike to the bike shop for a replacement estimate. Thank You Sherri. Jessica was my contact at Bike Legal. Jessica kept me up to date on the progress of my case. I provided Jessica with information she required from me. Thank You Jessica. Wow!!!
