Black & Jones Attorneys at Law

I’ve been working with Black & Jones in Rockford, IL for 8+ months with no success obtaining treatment—still no MRI despite a physician referral. Initially told it was due to a “bad video angle,” then Tracy Jones claimed the footage was clear, contradicting her associates claim, and also my account. They’ve ignored my emails and my ongoing injuries. I strongly advise anyone needing a Workmen’s Comp attorney to avoid them—they won’t fight for your treatment or compensation.

I had to call to get status for my case all the time. One and a half years of frustration. I believe they didn’t work for me. The settlement was not what I should have received. They didn’t fight for me at all. Tracy was rude and condescending towards me. I’m so upset, depressed and will never be healthy again. I do not recommend them at all. I trusted them and they obviously didn’t care. I never met with them, talked on phone a couple times. They got their 20% for fee and it’s regrettable that I will never be healthy again.

Black and Jones law firm gave me a wonderful experience between emails, paperwork, and working with their attorneys and office staff as well. Stephanie Siebold, who helped with my court date, was extremely helpful. The court date, in my opinion, went very well and was actually the easiest part of the entire application for disability process. Stephanie was so knowledgeable, very familiar with my case, and asked all of the important questions during the hearing, so that way the vocational specialist and the judge understood my situation and disabilities. The judge and vocational specialist/doctor didn't have to question me a bunch on their own. I had tried to find an attorney and law office to help me on my own, but did not have good luck finding an office who would take my case. Atticus was also a huge help and blessing to me to help connect me with Black and Jones. Although they are located in Illinois and I am in Wisconsin and I did not get the opportunity to meet them, the experience was still phenomenal and I would highly recommend both Black and Jones Attorneys at Law and Atticus online who matched me with the right law firm for me, who specializes in cases like mine. I opted for the hearing to do it on the phone only, over in person or zoom. I felt the most comfortable with them being unable to see me. The judge who lead my hearing was located in Michigan as well. He was very polite and friendly and this was expected. Thanks again.

In October of 2022 I sustained a spinal cord injury that put me on long term disability until November of 2024. I applied for SSDI as I did not know if I would be able to return to work. Black & Jones handled every step of the process. After several major surgeries and a year of PT, I was able to return to full time employment. Black & Jones ultimately won my SSDI case and I was awarded SSDI benefits for the period I was disabled. They were amazing to work with, especially during a very difficult time for myself and my family.

Just go with morgan and morgan the loyers she have me very low hopes we're morgan and morgan were doing great on my case she looked like she didn't want to take my case her word well we can try but it might not look to good send her email after email for her tell you they might be in the spàn folder she's was not to interested on my case she never received my email

After my initial consultation with Ms Jones , I had the pleasure of talking with several different individuals throughout the firm during what felt like a lifetime of two very long years. The attention to detail and the explanations I received from every single person , honestly it was EXEMPLARY…… This process can be very intimidating and daunting , no matter how many questions I had , they were all met with nothing but kindness and care . Thankfully at the end of the above mentioned two years , SUCCESS for myself and the firm was achieved!!!
