I was trying to buy a 5 acre parcel of land that had some access issues so I contacted Mark Barnebey at Blalock Walters. Mark said he would be able to help me. After a month and billing me for 1.8 hrs ($765) he had just talked to the county to review the statutes that pertained to my issue. After the month I gave up on Mark just calling the county and retained a different attorney. I learned more in the 15 minutes I spent in the zoning office than he told me from the 2 hrs of conversation with the county. The new attorney is filing paperwork with the the county and we are on our way to a resolution. I felt that Mark was more worried about all the closings that the firm had rather than helping me. I would have rather he told me he didn't have the time to help and not waste a month of my time.

Finally...a closing. We decided to sell our Jacksonville home the beginning of 2020....we did well considering but that was half the battle....finally we found our home...which brings me to Blalock and Walters. What a difference Blalock and Walters made. We worked with Attorney Gregory DeMeuse and with Kerri Comstock LTA Legal Assistant and there was not one detail they missed. Kerri anticipated everything so when the questions came up she was ready with answers. Attorney DeMeuse was meticulous and very detailed. The closing went smoothly and the package that Kerri gave us was organized for us to set up utilities, etc. Very impressed with the firm and how our closing was handled. It was very different than our closing in Jacksonville ....much more professional. It says a lot that this firm represents the City of Bradenton and the City of Palmetto. Highly recommend this firm... their knowledge of the real estate industry helped us to tackle issues quickly while moving the process along.

Attorney Will Robinson, Attorney Gregory DeMeuse & Legal Assistant Kerri are all wonderful to work with. They are prompt and friendly but most of all they go above and beyond with making sure clients are aware and informed of each step of the real estate transaction. If Kerri promises to do something she does it even if it means her staying till 7pm on a Friday to get it done. That in it self speaks volumes!
