My experience with Blanchard & Walker was Amazing!! I hate to sound cliché, but David and Olivia made me feel like family. From our first conversation I could tell that they were just as concerned about my issue as I was. They moved on the matter IMMEDIATELY and procured a more than satisfying result within weeks not months or years!! The persistent communication through every step of the process from Olivia was unmatched! Their customer service was soo warm and refreshing while maintaining the professionalism you'd expect from a top-tier law firm. I can't begin to thank them enough for making me feel at home and believing in me while in their care. I wanted to post this, because so many times people post negative things or complaints, and today I want to share a positive experience, thanks to Mr.David Blanchard and law firm. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, hundreds of thousands were encouraged to apply for Unemployment Insurance, by media, our state government and Mr. Steven Gray (Director of UIA at the time). My ex-wife applied, qualified, certified weekly, answered all questions honestly, UIA approved, and she received benefits. Fast forward to today, she’s been asked to return all benefits received, thru no fault of her own. COLLECTIONS had begun, on a person who hasn’t had even had a parking ticket, not a single criminal/civil/traffic incident in her entire life. UIA determined OVERPAYMENT as the reason. The COVID-19 qualifications, during a world wide Disaster, were forgotten about and only Pre-COVID UIA rules were applied to hers and many many others cases. For over 2 years, there’s been no help from UIA staff/management, UIA appeals, court, state government… It appeared hopeless for my ex-wife and 100,000s’ of others in the same predicament. Then a miracle took place on 12/22/2022, UIA announced a “Pause on Collections” (via email). Come to find out, Mr. David Blanchard and his firm had filed a lawsuit against the State of Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency. A brilliant case was presented, resulting in wins on many issues and the resulting PAUSE on COLLECTIONS was issued by the courts. On 1-10-2023, Mr. Blanchard returned my call from several days prior. He took the time to explain the UIA pending lawsuit/appeal and listened patiently to details of my ex-wifes UIA case, offering his thoughts. His Valuable Time and Wealth of Knowledge was Greatly Appreciated! I don’t know if anyone actually reads this, but if you do I want to say THANK YOU. I was hoping they would of called me by now 2 days later

David and his staff are empathetic, kind, compassionate and caring. He is an incredibly gifted attorney and he knows employment law and how to navigate what is a very complicated and confusing system. I found him because I was in need of assistance and an attorney friend said that David is the best, so that's why I called him. Attorneys know good attorneys, so when my friend said go to David, I knew only he could help me. I was completely overwhelmed, stressed and confused with the situation ahead of me and David and his assistant Leslie really helped ease my stress and held my hand through the entire ordeal. I know he is very busy and he can't take every case, there just isn't enough time, but I feel extremely blessed to have worked with him. To others who need help, David and this firm are the real deal. They do good work for good people. They really do care. They want to do the right thing and it's obvious that they want to leave the system and the world a better place than how they found it.

Words can't express my gratitude to Angela Walker and her assistant, Leslie Wenzel. I've never worked with a lawyer before, but due to recent discriminatory issues I experienced at my workplace, I contacted Angela thanks to a friend's recommendation. I'm so glad I did! Recently worked with Frances Hollander, needing a consult on a severance package. I was provided with a completely free consult, which lasted more than 30 minutes of her time; also having been contacted the day before to answer some starting questions, so all in all my time accounted for an hour of their working time. Not only was the response quick, and efficient in covering every aspect of the agreement, as well as asking background questions to ensure I was covered completely; Frances was also extremely personable and caring about my situation.
