Regardless of other reviews. Tom here was very easy to work with and went above and beyond his job to help me with an issue.

Stealing means taking something that belongs to someone else without permission or legal right, and with no intention of giving it back. It’s essentially the same as theft, but “stealing” is the everyday word, while “theft” is the formal/legal term.

This company retrieved an old account that was 13 years old. Be careful and watch out for the scams.

I have to call this firm all the time for my job. I am on hold for no less than 30 minutes each time and then I play the super fun game of "Let me transfer you to the correct department" between 2 and 6 times. Connect me to the correct department the first time! And don't leave a voicemail because you will never get a call back. Absolutely insane. You'd think that they would be more helpful when you are guaranteeing that a person's judgement is being paid.

I have been calling their office for the past 5 days to get a balance. No one answers the phone, no one calls me back, I have sent several emails and will continue to email every hour on the hour until they respond. They're quick to sue you but not quick enough to answer a simple question.

I called and paid off what I thought was a judgement. 2 weeks later my bank account was garnished. But nobody ever bothered to tell me there was an active garnishment when I made the payment. Now I just have to sit and wait on them to get my money released. Meanwhile I am getting late fees and overdraft charges. Which obviously they're not going to pay for. Ughh... awful company!!

This is a collection agency - they buy bad debt and zombie debt - most of the time they can't prove they even own the debt! Get an attorney and fight them! You can't even reach them by the phone number listed - scammers who can't prove the debt!

Absolutely worst people to deal with. Their system to make payments is terrible. You can easily over or under pay if you don't do your math correctly. They don't take debit card and only take checks (so be sure to order checks to make payments). If something cancels over insufficient funds they will cancel your whole payment plan. Extremely difficult to get ahold of through email and have messed up trying to take out more money AFTER it was agreed upon in court. They will also never contact you and just take you straight to court to sue you...over any amount. Owed $1007 and took me to court over it and threatened to garnish wages and take assets. They act like you owe $50k and do the most. With 8 attorneys listed. All of that over $1k. Ridiculous group to work with.

We were told we owed 8,700 dollars on a bill from Bank of America (An account my wife and closed years ago) No one can produce any information on why we owed the money(not a shred of paper). Just a supposed account number? Convicting with no evidence. They settled on 7,000 dollars if we wired the money to them. They said garnishment of my check would cease if we wired the money. It has not stopped as of yet. I definitely see why they are a 1 star rated company. Hopefully the government will look into the fraud that is taking place.

These guys suck not because they are collecting a debt from me - they just suck at their job. Dated payment options - slow communications - responses that don't answer your questions. They just suck.

Some good people, awful business. The way these banks ruin people's lives and treat them like criminals should be illegal.
