I complained about the person doing the BBO review and his supervisor said I have to talk to him even though she agreed I was right and he was wrong. Useless

I had an incredibly disappointing and unprofessional experience with this office. I submitted a valid complaint against my attorney for clear misrepresentation, and the female representative I spoke with was shockingly rude — even going so far as to call me an “idiot.” I took the time to carefully explain my situation and provide all relevant details, yet I was dismissed simply because I wasn’t aware I needed to bring physical copies of certain mail. Rather than helping clarify the process, she insulted me and essentially threw out my complaint. It’s truly sad that an office designed to protect citizens from unethical or corrupt legal behaviour instead treats complainants this way. It makes you wonder how many legitimate cases have been ignored because of how poorly this place handles complaints. Shame on this office and its staff for failing the very people they’re supposed to protect.

USELESS! Don’t bother they are in cahoots. Complain about the conduct and unethical behavior of attorneys of a divorce case, no discovery no separation agreement of an attorney they very well know about. Has reprimands and lawsuits. And who doesn’t hold a business license in the State of Massachusetts, since it was dissolved due to not filing annual reports and doesn’t have a business license in the town either where conducting business. My situation is malpractice, perjury, no due diligence and neglect of my case. I just asked if they are investigating and Ken Luke said “I’m just the Assistant Bar Counsel.” LOL It’s a one man shop when you ask to speak to someone else you can’t. Welcome to Massachusetts! Where instead of upholding the law they break the law and get away with it. Hopefully, there is a GOD! Shame on the BBO for not protecting the public. They know all about my attorney and the opposing attorneys and are turning a blind eye. Don’t have the person filing a complaint feel like it’s their fault for hiring her for a flat fee with no discovery, and an “Invisible separation agreement” that opposing counsel kept asking my counsel why I haven’t signed something I never got. And why would my legal representation go along with why I haven’t signed the separation agreement that was never circulated from either my legal counsel or opposing counsel like a 3 ring circus. And a “Memorandum of Understanding” was sent to me by opposing counsel with my prior counsel on the email chain and email not to sign it by my prior counsel after she already withdrew. Don’t worry I knew not to sign it. She never did a 4 way and withdrew 3 months before trial. My attorney told me on a few occasions she has been doing it for 30 years and “your my worst client.” She told other clients of hers the same. Well if you’ve been doing it for 30 years why wasn’t discovery done and you were allowed to withdraw. Since, you’ve been doing this for 30 years. I guess you succeeded in fooling lots of people. You didn’t fool me when I saw your reviews and called you out on it. Then your decide to refund half my flat fee to end the relationship in good terms when you denied the amount I paid in your personal name not business name for a flat fee to bring me to trial. Laughable, because to me that was a bribe. But, I was told by Ken if I cashed the check. It took me a while, but then I did cash it. Because she failed me in so many levels. She has two BBO #’s and uses different aliases. I helped the BBO by investigating myself. See my Yelp review since the Google review was taken down, since, the FACTS didn’t meet the standards to put a review/complaint for an attorney in both MA, NH. And a therapist, too! I wholeheartedly agree with the other comments of how the caller is treated when giving specifics. Not all complaints get investigated as you can see. I wonder what the purpose of this department is in existence for??? I can write a book about the neglect on every aspect of my case. Hopefully, someone with compassion, respect and lawfulness will see this and make things right by the law and not hide it under the rug. There is lots more to this, but it would become a Non-Fiction book that people will think it’s Fiction.

No response after I filed a complaint against an Attorney who gave me legal advice and was the opposing party's attorney (Julian Canzoneri). See transcript below. Is that a violation of Rule 4.3?

I had a terrible experience: an accident. My car was rear-ended, and they gave me $400.00, which wasn't even enough for a car wash. They also gave me another $400.00 for personal damages, and I have medical proof that I still go to the ER for pain and need Percocet to manage it. They convinced me to sign the settlement agreement. This is an unprecedented crime, perpetrated by a group of lawyers. Beware of this group of lawyers.

I have concerns regarding the investigators' ability to thoroughly and competently understand the situation at hand and the timeline of events that occurred when presented with a complaint. Their investigation process seems to involve little more than reading a complaint and making a determination without conducting any other aspect of an investigation, such as interviewing the individual who made the complaint or performing any fact-finding techniques to get more information where they are clearly confused and need clarification. Perhaps my complaint could have been a bit more perspicuous, but it is a shame that the BBO would so quickly close a matter concerning a new attorney who is engaging in knowing and willful misconduct.

Don't bother calling for referrals. Incredibly rude. Will refer you to someone who doesn't know anything.

Refused to help me, with issues with a ineffective lawyer and a Judge who violated my rights to hippa! What a detestable system in the Americas in 2023

It's kind of interesting because you feel their working for the lawyer you are complaining about. Everyone know all attorneys are just not good. I am not finish with my incident but will keep everyone posted on this site. After I am finish it will be going on YELP.

Writing a review on this page is like writing it in the sand at low tide. Does it even matter what we think? Appears to me that they want you to do all the investigation for them, provide the evidence that they are more suited to gather with their powers, and/or only investigate money claims. There are attorneys getting away with outrageous misconduct and they are still out there terrorizing and victimizing people not just their clients but children and families too.

Maybe we should just file our complaints about the attorneys here.
