I cannot say enough good things about Bethany, who was my lawyer for my divorce. She was extremely responsive and got me a settlement as soon as possible. Definitely didn’t want to just take my money, and was very reasonable compared to other lawyers in the area. I was a victim of narcissistic abuse and she made sure I felt safe going to and from court!

She was not only professional and amazing at guiding me through the whole process, explaining everything and advocating for us but, she is also so kind and patient and that made everything so much easier for me and my kids. She always made sure that my kids best interests came first, she respected my opinions, listened to my concerns, communicated all issues and concerns she had with me in a timely manner and also was not afraid to remind me of the end goal and to keep the emotional aspects of it all in check. (Which is important) I can’t express in words what having her in our corner meant to my family. 🖤 Victoria is not only going to get the “job done” but, you can tell she actually cares about the people she works with and we are forever grateful for her and her knowledge in Family Law.

This location is unprofessional with communication as they don’t know how to respond or setup a meeting. They have been ignoring messages and emails. Would recommend somewhere else who can respond better and calculate their schedule. (Mark D. Hofstee)

If you're looking for a law firm that will fight for you and your family, this ain't it. I went in and talked to Michelle about some custody issues I was having with my daughter. She pawned me off on Matt. Matt is easily the laziest lawyer I've ever had the displeasure of being in contact with. He not only sympathized with the other attorney stating that he knew her and she was a good person, she isn't. Should've been my first red flag. Matt was weak and ignored many of my requests including a request to modify my parenting time. Matt tried to convince me that the other attorney was a good person and he knew her and worked with her more than once. The moment he's started defending the other attorney, I should've asked for my money back. I feel Michelle was being lazy and didn't want to take my case. Matt did a horrible job. One of my hearings got cancelled and Matt claimed it was the courts fault. I contacted the court and since then have found out otherwise. This group will take your money and do nothing. Stay away from them and go hire someone that will care about you and the mental health of your family. This firm is a joke.

Victoria Drake was the second attorney I took on. She has since represented me for the last nearly 4yrs. The office is thorough and detailed at breaking down where retainer is going. Victoria is very knowledgeable. She helps you understand the process and what to expect. She is willing to listen and is quick about communication.

I am always satisfied with my results working with Victoria Drake! She is very knowledgeable, professional, and responds in a timely manner. She helps me feel at ease through the entire process and helped us save attorney fees by reserving our case for if the threshold of burden was met. She remembers our history with our case anytime I have needed her!

From my personal experience with them, it seems to me that they do not listen to their clients. They have their own agendas, and do not care what their clients Issues are. You can always count on them to do what is best for themselves in all situations, while utilizing their clients money of course. After my experience, I left feeling like they come to conclusions before speaking to their clients. I Felt as though I constantly had to prove to them what I was saying was true before they would even listen to me. After a couple meetings, and looking around a little more thoroughly, I feel their actions and manipulations may have to do with gender issues and biases. They do not listen to their clients. They set their own agendas. They will gladly take your money though and tell you they have your back. I suggest to you, from personal experience and with best intentions, that you do not believe them. Edit: They read this review quite quickly. Perhaps it Shouldn't have been, but their reaction still shocked me a little. I received an email from them shortly after posting this, ordering me to remove my post immediately and threatening me with legal action because they did not like what I thought of my experiences with them. I definitely have lost any remaining trust in them that I may have once had, and this solidified any and all suspicions I may have had concerning them and what their self-serving intentions are.

Attorney McLean was amazing. She helped us navigate a very tricky situation with professionalism and speed. She was referred to me and I'll refer her to anyone else in need.

Katie Steffes achieved our goal for our family. She was professional, responded quickly to inquiries and kept us updated with next steps to the various processes. She listened well to our goals and helped us understand how to achieve them. Her counsel was much needed and well worth it. Overall great experience with her and I highly recommend her to anyone who is dealing with custody situations.

Will bleed you dry while making no forward progress, then ask to part ways when you have finally run out of money. Good luck out there! Didn't even bother to tell me that I was alone in mediation for 2 hours. Got billed for it thought :)

I first was recommended to Bolthouse law by another attorney. After years of paying overpriced lawyers who didn't want to help, I was at a loss. It was Katie Steffes that took my case.I had wasted so much money in the past trying to get the help I needed in my custody case. She made it clear she wanted to help and was willing to work with me. Her kindness and compassion was what kept me going throughout the whole process. Not only was she understanding throughout the entirety of the case but very responsive and respectful; as well as organized and well spoken. There are even times I had messaged her and she got back to me within the next hour. It was a long drawn out case with tons of information to go through. I couldn't of asked for a better attorney. She is 100% there for her client and I highly recommend her.
