We began working with Shahid at Border Crossing Law in 2021 to file the paperwork for my daughter’s green card during the height of COVID, and the process turned out to be very long and complicated. Throughout the entire journey, Shahid was knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly responsive. He always took the time to speak with us, promptly answered our emails, and met with us in several video conferences where he clearly explained our options and the decisions we needed to make. Our case was extremely complex, and near the end, we needed a vaccination exemption, which he successfully helped us obtain. Thanks to his expertise and guidance, everything was finally approved. I'm not one to give businesses a bad review, but with all this immigration chaos, I want to make sure the public knows which attorneys are good and which ones don't take cases seriously. I hired Shahid Hoque for filing a few applications for me, like VAWA, U-visa, and DACA. At first, it was pretty normal not to hear much from attorney Shahid Hoque, but then the new administration decided to reopen cases, and mine was one of them, with only a couple of months' notice. One thing about me is that I like to get things done quickly. Mr. Shahid never picked up the phone once and wouldn't even communicate like an attorney should, which was very frustrating when you're depending on an attorney to help with your upcoming court case. My previous attorney was still on file, so he was the one to alert me about my cases being reopened. The point of my story is that I retained Mr. Shahid Hoque to represent me in court, and all his motions were denied. So, my previous attorney took over the case and was there everyday. Mr Shahid was horrible at communicating with me and waited to the last minute to respond regarding my case the following day. When I asked about a refund for my representation "wich he did not represent me" he said there was no refund. All in all I will never recommend this law firm hire an attorney that doesn't just take your money but is attentive and answers the phone when you call and its really thete for you when you really need them. Very dissapointed to the way I was treated by this guy. No stars ✨️

Unprofessional and a waste of money. The immigration process would have been smoother and nicer if we had done it ourselves. I highly recommend that anyone who is in need of an immigration lawyer to rethink and do it yourself or contact Chris at Immigration Law of Montana in Shepherd. We wanted to continue working with him but were financially unable. This was the only other option but it would have been better if we had done it ourselves. I urge whoever is looking into this service to go elsewhere. Shahid is unprofessional, bad at communication, and doesn’t respond promptly or well. Everything he does is through an automated system so he isn’t doing any work for his fee anyway. Save your money and patience and do it yourself.
